I absolutely love your stories, so much so that I've all but forgotten the cannon books 5 - 7 and your world has become the one that I truly think of when ever I'm thinking Harry Potter.

Your original characters are so believable, have so much depth and there are such a good variety of them that it's impossible not to be swept up by their adventures!

I look forward to the next two books (though I wish they wouldn't take so long ;) and hope that the break you take following them will bring you luck in you other endeavours

Loved it! I loved the plot twists with the mummy and Heron. And i am dying to find out what happens with Andrew, Lucky, and Lue!

You did it, you did it! Congratulations on finishing this book! And it was an awesome book. I always loved Murphy's Law, having long learned to deal with it in my stories, but it is always great to read someone else's work, views and ideas on that topic.

I'm not sure what I loved most in this book: The Coventry-situation being taken to a new level, Lucky and Dale or Aurelius. And then there's Leu of course. Having just re-read The Paintings of Twilight it makes me wonder if you had Leu already planned back then. Something about Ick's comment on Lucky and Dale made me wonder.

I think this was one of your best books ever. Thank you very much for it.

Yay! This chapter made me so happy! I have been waiting for Rel to find someone FOREVER - i am so glad he is getting married. I love Lue - and am very interested to see how life for the Snapes continues to pan out!

ps - i have been reading/keeping up with this series for about 4 years and i love it more and more - even though this is my frist review - i am a hugely devoted fan. Thanks for writing the JC series!

Back when you first uploaded chapter 32 I had almost to force myself to read it since I could not bear the thought of another bad thing happening to Severus and Jennifer. Okay, I know I would have read it sooner or later, but that evening I had to convince myself that with the story having progressed so far, there couldn't happen anything to make things even worse, that it was time to unravel the threads bit by bit. Plus the title of the chapter was giving me hope. And since then I am enjoying every single bit of the 'road to happy end' (respectively speaking). I think you have outdone yourself with that book. Leu, Mike is growing a personality and Aurelius... Next it will be Andrew's time to grow up. (After a considerable amount of sulking, etc.)

Really, that bit about Aurelius, Andrew, Ginger and then Severus giving her tips as how to handle love life with a truth seeker... Wonderful!

Thank goodness the kids finally stood up & told Jennifer to give up the idea of having kids. She might have wanted to kids to have a better childhood than her, but she & Severus always put the school, emergencies and other people's problems before being parents. They did not make their children a priority over outside issues, screwed up the kids they have and I think she wants another child to fill up some empty space in herself. Please have her give up this idea (she is becoming the Octomom).

Ingrates! That just pissed me off. I hope you update soon because I want to know what happens next.

Somehow the Ancient Magic Class of Toby reminds me of a bit of the Disney movie 'Merlin and Mim', but I love it nontheless.

And it's good to see that Aurelius is catching up growing up in parts that were kept young and naive because of the friendship with Pali. Really good. I think I'll like the Aurelius he'll be in the end.

Finally I find the time to write the long overdue review. Don't want you to think that I quit reading your story ;)

I am not sure which character I like best in this book: Mike for finally beginning to find out who he wants to be, Lucky for coming to terms with herself (and accepting Dale in the process) or Aurelius for being confronted with real life the hard way. For despite all the adventures, mishaps, accidents and achievements in his life he so far lived a relatively protected life concerning personal matters, which kept him from maturing in this part of his life. It will be very interesting to see the development of these characters in this book.

Good work and I really look forward to the next chapters.
