That was a terrible tease, you know. Some interesting (if not your best) dialogue, and between Light and L no doubt. Actually, when I read this I was wondering how you'd managed to write Light/L stuff. I haven't thought about that pairing for quite some time, personally. But then you share that you dredged this up from somewhere. Er, yeah, it kind of shows.

Anyway. My critique: yeah, it would have been better as a renga story... or at least if you'd given it a bit more of ANYTHING. It has some potential, but ends just when the reader starts being able to follow along with the characters' banter.

Dude, this is sounding really harsh, but you must have known that I would say something like this and that's probably why it stayed on your computer for so long without seeing the light. (*pun*) Anyway, I think it should have stayed there until you had a nice place to put it. Because by itself, it doesn't really do much.

Well, obviously it's an unfinished work and therefore I'm not going to heavily critique it. I liked it, though, simply because it's psychological smut and L/Light. XD Thanks for posting it.

Gah, this is so cute! Which is probably going to make you laugh when you read that interpretation...

Though, on a criticism note, I think that Mello starts off a bit too philosophical... it kinda jarred me, and I had to ponder it for a bit as I continued and realized that Mello is hella smart because he's Wammy's No. 2... and that he eventually had a point to it all... Also, you always seem to leave their relationship ambiguous, as in, is this the first time they've kissed? Or is Matt being *really* stupid because he's not kissing what is rightfully his (and they're already involved like that)? It's unclear in this.

Anyway, I really liked this one. It was short, sweet, and rather fun. I really like the interplay between the philosophy and how it's used against Matt. This is philosophy with a purpose (which makes it good philosophy, because otherwise I HATE philosophy). Cheers, Matt. I agree.

Awe, I like the idea of this! It's awesome! I think that a series of drabbles and oneshots is cool!

As for this chappie, in particular, it was sweet. It showed the envy Mello has in Matt, along with their wavering feelings for one another; not to mention their philosophies on life, itself.

I should probably say something more useful or whatever, but I can't think of anything other than "I liked it." The mood is bang on how I think they feel in the show/manga. And... well, it's very good!
