The storyline seems somewhat less... intense... than your other Arthur death-fic, but then it seems to capture a different aspect of the same could-have-been situation, a wider range of perspectives and reaction with less stream-of-consciousness ambiguity, so perhaps it's a different style altogether? And the dialogue and description seem to bring out a sort of stiff, archaic formality that was... vaguely hinted at? in the books.

Apologies for not being able to review in greater detail, and thank you very much for sharing this. And on a more personal note, I did particularly like your previous KttK fics and style of writing, so it's nice to see you're back again. :)
