Great stories, love reading them. Although I'm beginning to notice a pattern, none of the stories I've read so far are finished. Guess it really is the journy and not the destination when traveling with you.

Great story. Very dark, and because it's well done, entrancing. Ruby is a captivating character, both in her strength and her misery, and you've left us great little teasers with the 'flash'forwards' of the present. We know Ranma gets through okay, but we also know that some very serious, depressing things happen - that despite her getting free, Ranma has yet to really hit rock bottom. I definitely look forward to your next chapter, and this is definitely going on my favorites.

I need to ask, though; I've read a bit of A Millenium, and thought it was relatively poorly written but still interesting, and both chapters of The Anarchists (Fascinating story! Really wish you'd continue it, but eh, what can you do?) and see a great disparity in your writing quality. Is this just improvement from writing? 'Cause if it is, that is really, really impressive!

Your efforts are worthwhile. Don't doubt that for a second.
I agree about the problem with the Nekoken, although I would suggest you relax a bit more: what's supposed to happen, will eventually happen. But still, don't push the start of the Nekoken battle to the very ending of the chapter; it would be an interesting cliffhanger but also a lousy chapter start. Better have it happen some three quarters of the way down, so the next chapter can end when she wakes up from the Nekoken.
I also feel like the story needs a reminder that all of this is reminiscence of the past battles of a warlord.

This is your best story. Holy crap, this rocks. I'm getting more and more attached to your original characters. Not that Ruby isn't cool, but it's just really awesome to see the other characters around her. In this last chapter, you took Aktaya, (which sounds more Indian than anything, but I digress... I have little idea about actual Indian names) whom at first was a slave, then appeared as a write-off, THEN was saved, and NOW has become a soldier! THAT is epic! YOu could probably re-write this whole thing thus far from her standpoint, base the story in another "world" and call it your own. This is great stuff. Great stuff.

this is the most depressing fic I've ever read I only continued to read in the hopes that it would get les depressing but alas it isn't so i'm going to stop reading it.

The dedication you've put into this story is a wonder to behold. I can only think of two other Ranma fanfics I would place on par with this one, and they were both masterpieces as well. Don't ever stop writing. You have a talent for rich characterization that I'm envious of.

This story is outstanding, and it seems it's only just begun. Speaking as someone who finds good fanfics occasionally, good long fanfics seldom, and *finished* good long fanfics once in a million years, I pray you'll keep with it and see it to its conclusion.

Wonderful story, it still has me on the edge of my desk. Looking forward to what happens next with Ruby.
