Wow! Amusing and believable. One of the best one-shots I've read in a while. I loved all the reviews, and Tim's reactions to them were spot on (especially the last one!).

A great and unusual idea! I think most authors would want to find out what the readers think about their work. The reviews seemed like real ones from amazon, well written. And I loved Tony's review, of course *g*

This was absolutely hilarious. You've got the tone of those Amazon reviews down pat. I've only watched a few episodes of "NCIS", but you've really got the show down pat, as well as the woes and writer's blocks that go with author territory. I think the one point I loved the most was that one of the Amazon reviewers who panned the novel couldn't even spell the word 'tabasco'. And that gushy fangirl review was note perfect.

Yet, the really best thing was what this story revealed about your main character. It's not easy to write good introspective stories like this.
