The scene that makes the whole fic for me, is when Kyon silently glances at Koizumi. Bored. The fact that he's not surprised by any of this shows how used to strangeness he is, and yet how uninterested.

Starting in the middle, is also good. In the middle of the action.

Nice short history, a nice quick joke that could happen anytime (well, after snowing). Very funny.

Also, this reminded me a lot of the beginning of Snowy Mountain Syndrome...Tsuruya and Kyon's sister stay behind to build a snowman while everyone else goes skiing, but Mikuru wants to help build the snowman...

Absolutely adorable. I laughed hard at the end when the poor snowman was left behind to puzzle over his fate.

The only problem I see is with Kyon's monologue. It's in first person, after all, so I expected him to be a little bit more eloquent and detailed.
