Good chapter! Don't worry about there not being a lot of action cuz chapters like these really help to develop the characters. Aw Ryu is so cute reading to his pokemon! X3 And just the way he's trying to figure Saeko out is adorable too! GAH I love him! Haha and it's cool how Croconaw picked up on her emotions so well! Oh boy and what could the cryptic letter burning in the fire mean? Yep so another great chapter! Sorry it took me a while to review _; Studying for SATs is quite draining...O_o blech... I just finished the 3 chapters posted, it is like a real book and this is one of the best stories I have read for pokemon and I can't wait for the next chapter.

I just finished reading the three chapters you've uploaded so far and i swear it is one of THE best fanfictions I have ever read. One of the most promising starts I've read in a long time and I just wanted you to know that I'm going to be a faithful fan of yours from now on!

ANYWAY on to the review! So yes, very nice chapter! Hooray! Saeko and Ryu are gonna travel together! Loved the battle descriptions! Very intense lol! (haha the picnickers gotta love 'em! my personal favorites were the swimmers/sailors! "Aw man! I'm all washed up!" XD) Katashi is a bit of a creep, yes...but then again...any middle-aged man whose daughter has just ran away from home because of his verbal abuse and isn't worried would definitely be considered a creep in my book). And I loved how shadily the neighbors were talking about the situation and Saeko's mom...really makes ya wonder...So I can't wait till the next chapter! I can't say it enough, but this is a really good story! WOOT! _

yeah, i think katashi is a meany, who should have gotten over his fear of pokemon or hate of it enough to be able to accept and to be able to help his daughter with the tediursa problem.

ok, sure, maybe if he was helping her wouldnt somehow give up her fear and like them again (like i think is going to happen, hmm?), but at least they'd be okay.

and how can he just EXPECT her to come back when he wont even go looking for her?

i reckon he'll probably go looking for her eventually, and things will start falling apart again.

i mean, i'm guessing that his wife and kaya's mother was killed or something because of pokemon, so in a way, he'll be thinking that he's now lost two people to pokemon... and then he'll hate thm more... oh god..
