2009-10-25 . chapter 29
This was the first full fanfiction I ever read, being dead set agin' 'em before. You changed my life! *L* The events felt right, the characters felt exactly right, I loved how you represented the development of their various relationships and level of maturity - I printed the whole thing out and re-read it often. Just to reassure myself that there can be happiness in the CloTi universe. Thanks!

So sad how she lost memory of everything. :(

When she said nothing, I was completely shocked. I didn't think she would forget EVERYTHING!

*gasp*

This is the FIRST Final Fantasy VII story I have ever read and the first chapter was awesome. I totally LOVED it. I'm kinda curious on where Tifa and eDenzel is though. Guess I'll have to read the other chapters to find out huh? Well, on to chapter 2!

I really really loved how you thought out the whole plot so intricately, it was an amazingly enjoyable read. (I stayed up just to read it!)

An awesome story, I hope you'll write somemore!

this is one of the most mature cloti fics i've ever read. and in someone else's less capable hands, the story wouldn't have as much care and attention to detail as you've put in it. the amount of effort that you've put into this really shines through, and i'm really awed at just how brilliant, emotional, and engaging this truly is. i find the flashbacks followed by the chapter proper to be really effective storytelling, especially as this deals with memory, so inasmuch as tifa is starting to remember what she'd lost, we as the reader are on that journey with her.
seriously one of the most beautifully and poignantly written cloti stories i've ever read. thanks so much for giving us cloti fans the priviledge of reading it :)

Without a doubt, this is the best CloTi story I've never read (and I've stumbled across some pretty good ones).

The characters were very much .. "in character". I love how you kept Cloud the way he SHOULD be in a story; this was not a total fluff and that's what makes it so good and so real.

The language was written very well and not to mention the vocab was nicely used in this story.

This is a story very very much worth reading and recommending to all CloTi-fans and FF7 fans in general.

You're a writer for a reason; this is tangible proof of it, good work and keep it up!

...I just stayed up till 1am to finish this. I admit that I was a little nervous starting this story. I don't take angsty stories very well. You did an amazing job of teetering on the edge of the too intense emotions. I like how well thought out your story is. It shows research, time and you've done an amazing job delving into the personalities of the characters. Thanks for sharing your story with us!

It took me forever to leave you a review for this FANTASTIC story due to all of the distractions I had been dealing with. So, I decided to add the story to my favorites because I knew I was going to love it right away. Qwi-Xux, I know you've been hearing this from alot of people, but I have to be honest with you. You are such an inspiration to me. From the moment I started reading the first chapter, I was just dying to get started on a story of my own. I absolutely love the way you kept Cloud and Tifa in character, as well as the other characters. It just touches my heart when Cloud was always by Tifa's side, no matter how hard it was for him to cope with all of the stress and the challenges they both faced. There's so much more I just want to say. Thank you so much for this magical story. Hopefully, I'll be able to read more of your wonderful stories. You ROCK!

Oh my...BRAVO!

You wrote this so well! I've never read a Cloud/Tifa fanfic like this before. You seem to really understand each character and the love they share. I love how everyone grew and how you described things. It inspired me!

I'm also glad and really impressed how beautiful and wonderful you made sex to be in a marriage (I'm very big on that because I'm a believer in Christ Jesus). And you wrote it in such a way that was both arousing and yet touching at the same time. Good job! I hope to see more from you!

God bless!

Well I’ve taken a break from reading and reviewing this story for far too long, so thought it would be best if I went back and re-read the whole thing. Let me tell you, it was just as fun to read the second time through as it was the first. Instead of leaving you a whole bunch of individual reviews to catch up on each chapter though, I’m just going to write you one with my thoughts on the story in its entirety. ;)

There’s just something about your writing, and this story in particular, that has really captivated me. It pulled me in instantly, and the feeling didn’t fade even towards the end of the story. I’ve come close to tears several times while reading this, both from being happy for the characters and for being feeling sad for them. You have such a way with pulling emotions out of the reader, and the way you illustrate the aspects of both family and love is not only realistic but it’s incredibly beautiful, and, at least for me, that was a big part of what made this story so enjoyable to read. This story is unbelievably emotional, but even though so many awful things happened to Cloud and Tifa’s family, there was never a moment when it felt hopeless or depressing to me, because you always manage to convey a strong sense of hope, even when things look bleak. On top of all of that, this has an action-filled story that never failed to keep me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen, and the end of each chapter always kept me wanting more. I especially enjoyed how you tied everything together at the end, because it really made it feel complete. This is going to be a story that I come back to and read again and again, because it has amazed me in every way.

Needless to say, I absolutely adore everything about this story. Thank you for the awesome, awe-inspiring read. :3

Aha!! Here is the thread I've been looking for. Sometimes I conflate details of several authors in favorite stories, making it a long process of re-reading to parse out what I want to rethink...It's chp. 19 The implications to a society if everyone affected by Jenova and Geo. was too afraid to have kids. Is it ethically better for the majority to not have children (and what does that mean for subsequent generations) or to take the chance and work out how to deal with the uncertain results. How does one person's, or one family's, needs match or compare with an entire society? I'm fascinated that this idea pops up in a fanfiction because it is really a profound question, and fan fiction is ?lightweight stuff? Well, knock me sideways: no, it isn't! Pop! that's the sound of my brain exploding on something I have to think about! It reminds me of my generation's issue: zero population growth. It has implications today that were not that clear then. How do my choices then shape today's reality? (It's been fun re-reading the piece, tho, searching for Cloud's wrestling with this problem. Now I think I'm suppose to scrounge a decent dinner to validate my role in this household...) thx mc
