The character listing does get really annoying. It's hard to remember whether you should look for Kyouraku in the K section or the S. xD

A great dramatic chapter -- I loved how it brought out so strongly Shunsui's personal unswervable integrity and the strong bond between brothers despite having only been together for two years.

A truly beautiful and moving chapter. I could feel Juushirou's pain, and it was wonderful to see him find the strength to stand and fight again. Chiyo is a dear too.

Shunsui's had a difficult life ... I'm glad things are somewhat taking a turn for the better. I'm looking forward to seeing the relationship with his brother and family developed a bit further.

The difference between Juushirou's and Shunsui's family lives is so sad. I'm looking forward to seeing more of Juushirou's step-mother.

Ah ... no ... I should have known the Ukitake lord was too kind and wise to last ... =(

Shunsui isn't one of my favourite Captains, but he's certainly one of the better ones. I like how you've balanced his lackadaisical attitude with keen intelligence and a strong sense of honour.

I love the Ukitake chapters .. the characters and relationships are so warm and inviting. I've always been very fond of Ukitake Juushirou, and I'm very much enjoying how you're portraying him and his family. I especially like the father -- I hope he'll still be around to see his son become one of the first Captains of the Gotei 13.

It's nice to see that you write without interfering with canon at all, but rather work with the canon to develop their story.

That was incredible. You really put a lot of thought into Jyuu-chan's past, and made it totally believable, at that! It was really sad - poor little guy was named after misfortune - yet didn't go overboard (read: it wasn't depressing). :)

Shun is trying to avoid the standard academic and other stuff so as to not inherit the Clan, while other see him as a arrogant pest of a boy, the truth is quite something else.

Juushirou's pops speaketh wise words, and Juu listenth to dem. XD
