 medcat 2009-08-04 . chapter 1Great story! |
DraejonSoul 2009-08-03 . chapter 1I can't believe I missed this! *facepalm* It was a good thing I checked your profile!
You -must- write for the SH fandom more often. I find both your fics so insightful of the characters, treated with much respect, humor and inteligence they so deserved when done stories for. Tears almost sprang from my eyes when I was reading Watson's letter to Mycroft. You really know how to delve into the characters' depths and find their inner emotions.
Thanks again for another lovely read! |
 bluedragon1836 2009-01-12 . chapter 1aw . . . sad. and really good. |
Pompey 2008-12-30 . chapter 1come now, this installation is crying out for a next chapter!
Surely you would not deny your story the continuation it deserves? |
excessivelyperky 2008-12-26 . chapter 1Oh. My. What a heartstopping little drabble. Remembrance, indeed.
And yet, he should have gone (as he eventually did). |
ZantSpellcaster 2008-12-22 . chapter 1It's short, but it got straight to the point and I think was very, very well written. Poor Watson! I always love fics that focuses on Holmes' feelings about Mary's death, and you captured everything here splendidly.
Write on. :D |
Chewing Gum 2008-12-21 . chapter 1Aw, that was so sad and sweet... Watson's a solider through it all! |
 Mysterylover17 2008-12-21 . chapter 1Poignant and wonderfully written. Brava! |
 pebbles66 2008-12-21 . chapter 1Lovely.
The idea that Holmes might think at first that it was Watson who had died had never occurred to me. Very moving, and nicely done. |
 aragonite 2008-12-21 . chapter 1 Oh, goodness.
That is so brave and steady and sturdy and proper...just like Watson himself.
No. Watson would not despair.
Thanks for this! |
KCS 2008-12-21 . chapter 1That was breathtakingly poignant, especially that paragraph depicting Holmes as he received the news. How you could pack so much IC reaction into a few sentences is beyond me, but I bow to your skill with words!
And the “I’ll not see him ruined. Must I return?” speaks louder than anything else about Holmes's mindset at the time - the fact that the Hiatus continued speaks of Watson's. I love how you portrayed the strengths and weaknesses of both here.
And glad to see you do that 221b idea of the watch that you sent me so long ago - I never felt that I could do it justice, and I'm thrilled to see it here! |
