Adorable! Absolutely loved it. I was a bit confused by Hephaistion's reluctance tho. was it all because he didn't want to give Stormcloud back? Loved the softer side of Olympias as well.

I liked your Wooden Horse a lot, and it's good to see a sequel. Stormcloud is a lovely horse and he has a living image in King Philips charger. Little Alexander is most endearing in his waiting and wanting to go to Hephaestion to become friends, Hephaestion is more insecure. I smile when he thinks that Alexander is talking so much that he will lose his breath and suffocate. :)

*Your* Olympias is kind and understanding, letting them play together in their fond reunion.

This story is filled with great imagery from a childhood in those Ancient times. I like it a lot, especially when Cleitus is mentioned. he is one of my favourites, too. :)

This reminds me of your story Abstinence which had Alexander all excited about something

and talking non-stopuntil he GOT TO THE POINT and Hephaistion just let him RIP because he

had learned to let him go because trying to STOP him was just counterproductive.

These are two great kids.

I appreciate Hephaistion's fear of having to return Stormcloud but his decision to do it

because he thought Alexander might want it back - and then to see the REAL Stormcloud.

I'm so glad to see another Alexander story by you! Yeah, thank the god! This story was lovely, full of sweetness and joy. I liked the scene where we see Hephaistion for the first time in his new okios and he has Storm Cloud with him, yet is afraid Alexander might ask for it back. Just trying to imagine the adult Hephaistion as a little boy with the small carved horse, such a sweet idea. I loved Alexander's excitement at Hephaistion's coming, how all he can think about is to get is new friend and then take him to see the real Storm Cloud. I know you write other wonderful stories, but I am partial to the Alexander ones, so I'm glad to see this by you. I'm also glad my own little liontari story was some inspiration. Happy Xmas, E. :)
