I just love it when a favorite fic gets updated! It was great to read about the continuing adventures of our brave and spunky heroine, Fiona (although I think that being brave and spunky must be a requirement for being female on Discworld). I like the way you showed her loneliness, despite having a room at the palace and instant celebrity...and having wizards pick her wardrobe must be the most heartbreaking development of all ;) Looking forward to your update!

I'm not sure what to make of this fanfic. On the one hand I like the idea of the culture clash between Discworld and Roundworld, especially through the eyes of a modern women unlike the historical figures treated in the 'Science of Discworld' series. However your characterisation of the Disc characters falls a little flat for me - you do the wizard Faculty in general well, but Vetinari and Rincewind less so. And also I don't really get your footnotes - some are good, some are discordant and some - see footnote 1 of chapter 2, make little sense.

I'm interested to see where this will go however. :)

Woot, new chapter! This is shaping up nicely indeed. :D I think that Fiona handled herself quite well, considering the bizarre situation that she's found herself in. Poor Rincewind is always getting press-ganged into things. XD

Ah...sometimes, there's just nothing more refreshing than a great piece of Discworld fanfic. Your writing style is fantastic, laced with a dry wit that's very similar to Mr. Pratchett's. I just love your no-nonsense OC, too - I'd say 'poor Fiona', but I have a feeling she can handle herself just fine, even with an unfortunate lack of bullets. Now that she's headed to the Unseen University, she will probably wonder where all the female students are hiding...I know I would. ;) Please continue!

You know your story isn't bad, not at all!! I haven't read the particular book that had all this characters. So I'm the one at falt. This is the main reason why I didn't get your fic, but all the other fics I've read suck around yours, so don't worry.
I think you write well (well is offending, you write beautifully) and I don't think I need to congratulate you for every time that you write a fic. Yet I would like to say once again for all the idiots that didn't get it, that I.am.so.sick what a stupid name xd is a great writer and always puts the characters in realistic forms of course depending on * what is reality for the writer*.
This is the first Discworld fic that I've read (or at least I think it is, lool), because I think the books are enough and Terry Pratchet rules!
Please continue to write and please for God sakes finish the other fic!!
