FellowsheepOfThePeen 5/8/11 . chapter 1EdwardsChipper has recommended your story on our blog's Sunday Selections for Sunday, May 8. Check it out at My mission for this Sunday was to find something for all of the wonderful mothers out there in the fanfic world because today is Mother’s Day in the States. This is for all of you who will be receiving breakfast in bed (as your minis and Majors allow you to sleep in), a miraculously clean house, all of the laundry done, and presents waiting for you on the coffee table as you lazily make your way out of bed around 11am. If I were a mother, which I’m not, that’s what I’d be expecting. Lol! So on this day honoring all mothers, I said to myself, “Self, it’s not often I read a fic about our favorite mother!” Well, she is for some anyway. Some of us get squicked out thinking anything other than just this side of virginal thoughts about the dearest Esme. But she is a quintessential mother figure in these fics, attempting in the most difficult of circumstances to comfort and nurture as she wanted to as a human — to create a family with the man she loves beyond all others, amidst a group of men and women not much younger than herself, not of her blood, and all with the very essence to oppose that which she wants to give them — love. So I set out in search of something — something short, as I was assuming everyone would be quite busy today, either with their families…or their mothers…or both. I wanted something fluffy but in keeping with the, um, fics I like to read. And I found this! Summary: She has everything she’s ever wanted and she didn’t think her world could get any happier. And now, somehow it has. She lets her wonderful husband know in her own special way. Lemonade, very sweet fluffy one shot. It’s a one-shot — a quickie, if you will — and…well… it’s a lovely message for today. Give it a half hour with your pancakes, cereal, or just your coffee/tea in bed this morning! Happy Mother’s Day to all of you! |

Gaawa-wida-cookie 3/10/11 . chapter 1yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! |
paw79 12/22/10 . chapter 1Extremely sweet story. I think it could give someone cavities. :) I like the twist on the fainting father cliche. I just couldn't imagine having a child and grandchild the same age. I can imagine the built in babysitting line of "after all you put me through the least you can do is babysit your little brother/sister for a couple weeks." |
Lady Dragona 5/3/10 . chapter 1I love this one. Esme and BElla pregnant at the same time. What a Christmas present to the empty nesters. |
