I really wasn't expecting that turn of events, but it was a nice touch.

I missed this story over the holidays, but it was nice to read it now. The twist at the end was unexpected and made the story that much more satisfying.

It's strange, but there are so few stories out there that even reference the time before Buffy was called that even such a small nod to that time is a fun and welcome change. Including Angel in such a scenario only made it better. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome story. I loved the details at the beginning about Joyce's irritation with the mediocre tree, and that she tried to fight back to save her daughter. And then when Angel and Buffy were looking at each other, that was just adorable. Merry Christmas!

Hey, this is pretty great! I can't believe I didn't guess the woman and baby were Joyce and Buffy until it was stated. Also love the proper grammar and spelling. :) I hope you write some more for BtVS!
