Absolutely brilliant. I was hooked the first chapter, and though it was short, but not too short, I just couldn't stop. Truly an inspired piece. I hope little Draco remembers the story!

Oh god... I love this.

It's a wonderfully romantic/sappy/sexy story with a happy ending, and that was wonderful, but what made it PERFECT is that small sliver of doubt you gave us at the end.

It's impossible to tell whether that last part was a flashback, or the entire story the bedtime tale of 'The Pheonix and the Salamandar'. It could be both, a paradox within its'elf, or perhaps things turned out the way Rowling originally wrote them, regaurdless of Narcissa's story/vision.

I love how you just left it open for individual interpritation. That just makes this tale all the more appealing. (Which is difficult, because two hot guys having sex in an inferno is... well, ~hot~, dispite the poor/unintentional pun.)

I have to say, I'm very impressed. I've read a lot of fan fiction by this point, but I've never come across a more original story or idea. And I absolutely love what you did with Draco and Harry: absolutely, utterly love it. This is an amazing story.
