lilt-epiphany 2009-11-26 . chapter 1 What a beautiful story! It's rare when I come across a good citronshipping fic - I've read your other fanfictions (which were all just as beautiful, by the way), and although English is not your native language, I wouldn't be able to tell that from reading your stories! The grammar and sentence structure exceeds from a lot of the other YGO stories you see here. I actually found a mistake however; you used the word 'found,' instead of 'fond,' when Bakura states that he's getting "rather fond of Malik." Otherwise, I spotted no mistakes.
The plot is well constructed; I adore your usage of the cat metaphor to apply it to Malik (if, that's what you mean), and the two were in character, which is a plus. Malik's inner thoughts were so human, it's hard not to think that his thoughts could be based off of a regular human being's.
The dialogue between characters was fluid as well, and I rather enjoyed watching Bakura and Malik interact. The kiss was a nice touch, and not overly cheesy either.
In all, I loved the story. In fact, I adore all your stories. It's a shame that your stories are so underrated - at least, compared to other YGO fanfictions here. I mean, six reviews for this masterpiece? It's disappointing.
I'm looking forward to reading all your future works, and I hope you continue to be just as wonderful of a writer as you are now! |
Tenshi no Toki 2008-12-23 . chapter 1Yay, Citronshipping! There are too few of those around, and it's such a wonderful pairing...
I liked that a lot, a really nice long read that made me feel warm and fluffy...
So...the cat was used as a representaion of Malik's coyness, right? Just wanted to make sure in case I was having the wrong impression... And Yuugi as the heir? My mind just can't wrap itself around that idea... |
