I was in the hospital room with my grandmother when she died, and you nailed it. So much so I was crying throughout the chapter! I feel so sorry for Edward, is that weird? Poor thing. I loved the part with Jake smiling for Bella one, last, time, that was truly beautiful! You can honestly end the story there, and it would be perfect, but I can't wait to see what else you have in store! Great chapter!

It was so sad when Bella died. I could feel Ellie's pain like I just lost someone myself when I was reading this chapter, and that shows how amazing you are as a author.

I loved it. You captured the emotions so beautifully. I was moved to tears. (Perhaps also because I was reminded of seeing my grandpa the day before he past and old memories resurfaced).

I loved that Bella made Edward promise to watch her family. And that flash of him at the end was perfect.

Ok, as much as I love Jacob, this chapter made my heart break for Edward. I'm usually not terribly sympathetic towards him (I don't let myself be) but I was actually crying for him. I can't wait to read more. Great job!

This chapter really brought back everything that I love about your writing. I love Ellie's/Edward's interaction. The Sense and Sensibility thing was pretty awesome too. There is a small nagging part of me though that wishes Ellie was sixteen instead of twenty-four... ;) That just proves that you are getting me seriously involved with the story. Can't wait for chapter 10!
