Excellent. It has very nice Miracle on 42nd Street vibe. I like how Vala went from finding it odd to not buy presents for herself to finding Christmas a little empty without children [her own or others]to connecting with the true Pere Noel and Christmas sharing.It was great that Daniel noticed and appreciated her generosity of spirit.

Nice little Christmas story. Vala certainly seems to have taken to the Christmas spirit nicely. And I thought the bit of introspection about her own childhood was a nice touch.

It'll be interesting to see what Daniel would do when he discovers the extra purchase on his card. But I'm sure he'll mellow out when he finds out what it was for.

Daniel's always doing nice things, even when he doesn't realize it. Although, if it's the thought that counts, then Vala really does come out on top. Anyway, it was very sweet.
