Oh wow, I really really enjoyed this.

I have found so many Mark/Lexie fics take either one or both of them ever so slightly out of character, but this one was dead on. That's totally them. And I love that they're spending Christmas "together" but not together.

It was completely adorable.

You should write a second part of them at Mer's...hehehe.

This is wonderful! I love the subtlety of it and I love their inconclusive relationship and I love how you have them taking it slow after the fact.

Then this "Right after he said it, it hit him that those words rang true for himself as well." is perfect. I think it's absolutely true that caring for Lexie could cause Mark to value himself more and that was what this line conjured up for me.

It's such a nice blend of angst and hope and sweetness and playfulness - which is very Mark and Lexie, I think. Just brilliant! Lovely! Thank you!
