To answer your question right off the bat: I think they do have a new season, they just aren't showing it yet..personally, in my own opinion;I saddly think that they will never show the new episodes. I read somewhere that they do have another 13 episodes but they aren't releasing them..*sighs* such a shame really..
Now, onto my review of the chapter...it's hard to think of Jane as being only ten years old in this chapter..she's acting so grown up. of course, it was common for back then.to mature quickly.
I do wonder what will happen next? Will someone or anyone come to her aid? This is a great story, I can't wait for an update whenever you can!

I heard something about having to wait until after the New Year or something like that. But according to one of my friends there is no season. But- there is something about a new season on Wikipedia the last time I checked. So maybe.

Good chapter- I loved the bit at the beginning. Especaially, "there were no friends here." and "And the worst part of it was…no one cared…" Truly creepy.

Geeze- yet another good chapter followed by another cliffhanger! Arrgh- this is really getting tot he climax point isn't it? Nicely done with the chapter separations. This is very nicely written. Don't worry about updating- as long as you continue this story while I'm still alive- I'm okay! I hope your roller-coaster gets better!

Ooh I thought that chapter was good. I think the 'slapped' feeling of it actually help this chapter. It seemed like the urgentness of what Jane is planning was heightened by the whole thing.

You know, I just realized something. It's always harder to see a larger creature suffering then anything. Poor Dragon. Hopefully Jane can get her mentor's help. Glad you could finally update. :)

This was well written- you have a good use of dialogue and description. I really loved "the whispering still bothered him like a haunt". That was a beautiful line.

I don't think you really grasped Dragon's character in parts of this fic. He has a remarkable disdain for humans except Jane and in canon probably wouldn't nitice if they ignored him and would be amused that they were frightened. You did capture him well in his relations to Jane, though.

Canon-wise, this show has the unique quirk of never using abbreviations in the dialogue. It seems a little odd to read the characters use words like don't and can't because of that, but that has to do with your choice so I just thought I'd mention it as a side-note.

The plot of this fic was interesting. I do like the idea you have of him having a hard time fitting in with the castle and having only Jane around. However, there's only two knights and another squire in the castle and one of those makes every attempt to be polite to Dragon becasue of a bit of his past that we learn of in an episode (Last of the Dragonslayers), so that seemed odd. Also, the main action of your story is exactly what happens in a different episode (Adventures in Royal Babysitting), which also makes it slightly weird. I feel like you could have been more creative by coming up with a new way to deal with the exact same issue of Dragon saving Lavinia, because you're right that her getting lost is a reoccuring theme in the series.
