Near is so incredulous and charming here, all out of his element and into a much wetter one. Your Mello certainly has layers too, he seems to have grown up a lot from the way he was in canon.

This is awesome. DD It’s funny, and it’s sweet, and I think the part I love most is that it’s wonderfully fluffy and happy without having lost the characters at all. I love Mello’s silly conversations with Matt, and Near staring at him when he hears the trunk line and mumbling about knowing his physics; it feels just like the Wammy Boys, only happy. XDD And it made me happy, too. :)
