I liked the X-5's Christmas the best because of all of them (including the one with Zombies), an X-5's reunion is the one that would have been least likely to happen.

I really liked the format you created for this; it was a nice twist on the standard "five things" type of story. It was cool that they didn't have to be totally credible stories, especially since the last one was almost certainly how they did spend Christmas.

Of course the zombie one was the best, but that was to be expected...

The zombies made me laugh. But my favourite bit?

“So,” Original Cindy said abruptly, “You and Max done the horizontal tango yet?”

Logan snorted beer out through his nose.

“Me too,” Logan said. “Mine died. Nowadays I take what I can get and it looks like you’re a part of that.”
Interesting, fascinating scenario and pointing out similarities in a way that I’d never thought of.

Oh, Christmas!! and not one present, but six!!

I love them all -- and thank you for catering to my unending sweet tooth, where M & L are involved. The collection of different scenes, different *thems,* works so well in this collection of stories, and I love them all, even the zombies!

Hard to pick favorites, but I guess favorite moments from them all are your description of Logan's "sensation, the novelty of such actions was still new and every touch sets his misfiring nerves ablaze" ... the camaraderie of Cindy and Logan, snowed in ... the Christmas gift Logan managed for Max, despite Zack's rules, and the moment of amazement it brought to Max as its meaning dawned on her ... the kindness of an adopted Logan to the also adopted 'kid in the house'
