If I was Dandin, here's what I'd say:

"Look, Mariel, I'm sorry about what you went through and all, but what does any of that have to do with Blaggut? No, I know he's a searat. But what did he do to you? I'd understand if we were trying to get you to be civil to Catseyes or Graypatch, but we're not. This is Blaggut, a rat who has never harmed you in any way, and he does not deserve to have you treat him like this. You should be ashamed of yourself."

And she should be ashamed of missing something that's staring her right in the face... but oh well, leaves room for Nona! Heheh.

Sorry this's a bit late, but my mom had my dad block all my websites (please don't make me explain why), and I'm reviewing from a school comp.

Great chapter, though. Full of drama and all; drama is our friend.

Ahh, so you finally descided to update, eh? 'Bout time! XD Anyways. . .

Well I expected there to be a horde or group of vermin somewhere in this story, (it wouldn't really be a good Redwall story without 'em now would it?)

Poor Mariel and Dandin, I feel bad for both of 'em at the same time. All these misunderstandings (wow, long word!) will it ever end? It's times like these where I'm grateful for plot twisters. Though, I really have no feeling for Nona, I mean, she doesn't seem to be the kind of character you'd sypathize for, nor is she the type you hate whole-heartedly, since she has no vibe (so far) of being any of those types.

Wonder how Mariel and Nona's "relationship" will turn out because of Dandin. And yes, I'm blaming Dandin because well, depending on what he does to Nona and/or Mariel will determine how Mariel and/or Nona will treat him.

Well enough of my ramblings. It was nice chapter to read, (I'm just glad you actually updated!) and I'll be hoping to read your next chapter [soon?]!

Funnily enough, all I could think of as I read the first part was the AVPM quote, "I can't get her out of my head and every time I look at her I get these pangs in my chest... and I just KNOW it's her fault." Poor Dandin. Drama again! It's building up! I like Nona because she's a nice OC. However, I still like Mariel and Dandin together better.

But I digress. I like where the story is heading, so keep up to good work!

But to make suggestion, I would go into greater depth with Nona, showing the differences, both subtle and noticable, between her and Mariel, and what Dandin sees in both hers and Mariels.

But, to make sure the story doesnt head into too emotional of a direction, I would make sure violence takes a good part of the chapter too!

Hey, It's nice to see this ol' fic again. Heh, I was wondering if you'd forgotten about it. Along with all your SueSlayer fics, HINT.
All kidding aside, this chapter is quite nice. It helps advance the plot, and it gives Mariel's personality a new depth. I'd always wondered how she's react to Blaggut. I'm wondering how this new thieving band is going to play into the story, though I'm betting it involves either Mariel or Nona (I just realized where you got here name from...) being captured. Update soon! Both of you!

Drama! Gotta' have it, gotta' love it. :) I like the pretty writing of the first part because it made me feel hopeful for Mariel and Dandin. I feel sorry for Nona, though. Poor thing. However, I felt even more sorry for Dandin at the end of the chapter. That was most definitely a kick to the solar plexus. Bad rats must mean a fight, right?

I read this before it was updated today or yesterday (To lazy to check) and thought that it was eccelent, besides for the fact they were just getting settled in.
