I love your stories. It's really too bad that saiunkoku doesn't have much fanfiction yet, but yours are a gem. I always love how your character's interact and that nice sprinkling of humor, not over the top but very much in the spirit of the series. I do hope to see more of the alternate universe wherein Kouyuu was adopted by Shouka instead. And of course, my ultimate favorite is your prmpts based from your Journey to Light series.

This alternate universe holds great protential. I almost feel sorry for Reishen with Kouyuu and Ryuuki teaming up on him. You can feel the headache building for Seiran (the leader and person supposed to be in control) and wonder what Shuuei will toss into the mix. Yep, even though they are young adults, you can hear Shouka talking to Seiran - "You are the oldest, the responsible one. Why didn't you stop them?!" And how will Shuurei react to this conspiracy and what will she contribute? Interesting.

Of all the chapters listed, this is my favorite one. You can feel Shuuei's devotion to his friend, and Kouyuu's hesitation in trusting his friend and that devotion. Kouyuu's weary acceptance of Shuuei's devotion, and Kouyuu finally getting the courage to speak to Shuuei is wonderful.

I really liked this chapter and the companion chapter Hardest Stone. They seem to define the fierceness of Reishin's love for Kouyuu. And it is a very fierce love.
