It is utterly amazing to see the change Rosalie has gone through in these last 10 or so chapters, her facial expressions, her way of ex, even a bealthy amount of tongue-in-cheek! It has gotten to the point that i don't buy into her statement of being frozen, of not being able to change.(or did she not say that? Maybe i'm interpreting her words differently)

Oh my god I REAAAALLLLLYYYY needed this chapter!
I'm in the middle of reading another twi-fanfiction called 'Alice' and while the Alice in that fiction and the Rosalie in this fiction are both twisted, your Rosalie is at least redeemable, Alice in this other fiction is horrifyingly twisted in such a way that it's hard to look away, like a car-wreck. I love this person's writing but I like yours just as much if not more and I really needed this chapter to offset the horror.
I find that kind of funny considering just how dark your story is, it's probably just as dark as 'Alice' but it has moments of reprieve like this chapter and I'm just so happy to see more if you couldn't tell :)
I really loved this chapter, the reveal that Rosalie is suffering in ways similar to Bella is just soooooo delicious and fantastic I could hardly contain myself!

They are just so adorable. It makes me want to coo and simper all in this review for these two. Of course, that wouldn't really get anything done, would it? Alas. Holding off the baser feminine feelings to get things done.

Rosalie and her temper. Mighty. And she had just gotten done saying how she would get mad at Bella for her fails and she'd fail time and time again like Bella would...

What happened to that better than "Haleness" hm?

But Bella is kind of like that one boyfriend that gets bitched out every time he takes a wrong turn on the road, and then precedes to be jumpy all night, and then precedes to get yelled at for being jumpy and taking yet another wrong turn. She persists even in her jumpiness and unassured walk into unfamiliar territory.

The same Hale that encourages her to think is the Hale that encourages her to stop being in her "fucking head", eh? And the mommy talk? It was incredibly accurate given that Bella hasn't been doing diddly squat at the cabin but dying... and that's just irresponsible. Not adult like at all. Dying is a kid thing, y'know. I love Rosalie's tone and daring to give Bella the honest truth: being a kid means a set pattern of rules and regulations. Being an adult means going as you are given. There isn't a rule book for that other than, you rely on you and whoever you decide you can rely on.

No more backsliding for Bella, dammit. But it's bound to happen again kind of like Rosalie's persistent anger and new, excessive cursing, yes? At least Bella's a tad bit more behaved, yeah?

I do rather like the turn this story is on. Even if I have to adjust a little to the language patterns and relationship dynamics. I do think I rather like this new line you have me on geophf. I do hope you continue to inspire and enlighten me with your words and ability to change the story so well that it fits so naturally with the rest.

And the hug at the end... SO cute. I mean, really, Bella and Rosalie are adorable when they choose to be. I do hope this "hope" and "equals" terminology turns into "love" and "sex" sooner or later. Although... I am a female, and we like the journey more than the conclusion.

Carry on my dearest geophf. You've done us so proud with your writing. And really... I predict book II is not far from us.

Bel-la. The language. O, the language.

Ekalaka-waka, Bella changes up her language, huh?

Although I get that the fact that Edward is the example Rosalie uses to give Bella some perspective, and thereby causes some emotional distress, the language change was a tad sudden as it went from "bitch" maybe 5 times in one chapter to "Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck!" and "I am a fucking cunt." A sudden turn in language for me, dearest.

However, Rosalie's display had to be incredibly disturbing to watch no less. Of course, Rosalie possesses God-like grace, so really making it seem as if someone was actually there had to trip Bella's human eyes out. I mean, her vagina spread. I'd think there were ghosts too.

I don't believe I understood what Rosalie was saying with her display. Sure, Edward was looking for one thing, and forcibly coercing Rosalie to go along with it, even if she really didn't want to. And he was even disappointing in the fact that he didn't please her accurately and left directly after, shattering the emotional bond we females require in order to even have sex much less enjoy pleasing our partners with out receiving pleasure, which is a truly selfless act that we suffer like the lowest forms of life in nature often do. We, human beings are supposed to be of a higher power, making sex enjoyable, yet, like female animals in nature, human females often suffer the short end of the stick in sex, being the outlet for children and taker of seed in a sacrificial act to please the partner and continue the line.

But... Really, I lack the know how to see beyond that, geophf. I'm as lost as Bella is when it comes to this picture. But I do love Bella's tenacity to defend her lover, even in thinking Rosalie's intention was malicious and show her how much of a "home wrecker" she is.

Oh, I do remember this talk I had to have with my lover when we first started dating.

She of course had thought she wore the pants. She told me:

"I'm the man here. I take care of you. You don't need to work or do much of anything. Just be the person I love and give me that -bleep-, y'know, lemme -bleep- ya every -bleeping- day and after work give me that good -bleep- too, okay? Throw that -bleep- back on me right, alright?"

Of course, me being the strong, feminine, logical, independent, 5''2, African American woman I am (and the taller one out of the both of us might I add) had to nip that right in the bud. Yes, she got her -bleep-, but I work, cook, clean the house, and receive nightly massages when I come home from work.

Anyhow, Rosalie and Bella's equality talk is very... businesslike. But secretly saying so much more.

Yes! Rosalie makes progress!

-"What I'm doing," she said, "is saying that what I was doing is all I know how to do, and I saw, so clearly, that it was falling wrongly, and hurting you, but I didn't know how else to do it. And then ..." she said reverently, "you stood up for yourself, and, no matter what damage I've done, I just hoped that ..." she shrugged, "... that you can and will stand on your own two feet, and you don't need me twisting you into being another me, no matter how right I feel about things."-

Pure gold, geophf! Rosalie actually admits that she was doing wrong. And admits she really knew no better. Even better! I really enjoyed this chapter.

The dialogue between these two is always stimulating, often their talks flowing from one deep subject to another, much like a natural conversation, but this talk was friendly, amicable. Really, more than that. The talk reminded me of how I talk to someone I love. At ease, with peace, with love.

And Rosalie laughed openly! And Bella noticed! O the heavens have opened! Rosalie is being open! Oh me oh my!

But then... Rosalie does her Rosalie thing and... scares Bella half into eternity again. At least she warned Bella this time.

I really enjoyed this chapter. I speculate on what Bella will be shown.

To not focus on the syrupy sweet, lovely ending, Bella actually "won" an argument! She made her point that beyond a reasonable reason, she has her hope grounded in Rosalie. Rosalie is her hope! And really, with things hoped for... I do believe that love soon follows after, or rather, in this case is declared sometimes soon, hopefully. That's my hope.

But huzzah! Bella is changing so rapidly, it makes me so happy. Her hope is in her salvation from this nightmare, that technically dragging her deeper in the nightmare but really loves her and is wishing for the best for her and really is trying to keep her from the nightmaredeathpooldarkholest unnelsdeathdestructiondesmay -

Well, Rosalie is changing too. Sure, vampires don't change. But Rosalie is changing as a result of Bella's non change, per say. Bella isn't letting go of the fact that Rosalie is someone important to her and her hope. Rosalie, is in a position to accept that, especially when Bella is doing as she likes and fighting for something. Fighting for life.

But hope. I wish it were a simile for "love". Or is it here? Hmm.

The next chapter? Yes, I think so, lovett.

Indeed. A pickled asshole is exactly what Rosalie is looking like right about now. Vampire be damned, that was wrong. From a sexually abused person to Rosalie, WRONG. Never, NEVER is one to harm another like you've been harmed! It reeks of injustice and in the end, you turn out to be no better than the one who harmed you.

Enough emotional ranting.

Bella has my approval. Before, she was a confused, whimpy thing that had so much hidden potential it was maddening. Now, the little thing has blossomed a bit, with some will of her own. If she didn't save herself, Rosalie would've probably scared her into hate. Had she not said a thing...

Well written. The portrayal of Rosalie's "teach and fuck" lessons are amazingly written. Rosalie as always, seeking to better poor Bella in the most left wing ways she can manage. The most extreme she can come up with really. Not only does she toss the girl, but she gets ready to rape her? Sheesh. Talk about creating hatred for all eternity the wrong way. Although Bella doesn't comprehend exactly why or what Rosalie was trying to do with the forcible actions, I'm sure Bella has some insight as she normally does to the madness that is Rosalie.

I swear, Rosalie could never be my girlfriend with that type of attitude. All that damned mood swinging wears down on your soul.

*sigh* Rosalie's profanity is catching on. Great.
