I really enjoyed your characterization of Lupin. You brought depth and intrigue to a character I had previously overlooked. Good job.

Great idea, and written beautifully, as usual. By showing us a moment at the halfway point of their lives, you really emphasize just how horribly young they were when they died.

Oh, that was beautiful! Different than your usual characters, and I love it! Remus's was the best - it so explained him. I loved that he knew the "cost of loving him" - so sweet! Sirius's was also amazing - I loved what Mary said to him, how he couldn't look at him. And Sev's - oh wow, so powerful, how he almost thought of killing her - beautiful! I also loved Tonks's, how naive and cute she is. Fred & George's was as great for the same reason! And Lily's - aww, I loved how excited she was. Lovely job! This was fantastic!

That was eerie and truly haunting. Thanks so much. You really captured a great deal about these characters in very few words. They were all unexpected and fantastic - Nymphadora's especially broke my heart.

What an excellent fic! It took me a bit to realize how old each character was in the mini-fics...but the time written out and the title of the fic was absolutely brillant! Wonderful job!

This is lovely. I really liked the Tonks, Remus and Sirius section the best. Especially the last few lines on Remus, where he doesn't want another women to tear herself down for him. Very poignant.

My goodness. This reminds me of a scene in an opera: Dialogues of the Carmelites, that has a procession of nuns walking to their deaths singing Salve Regina. And the singing is beautiful, but as they sing, you know what's happening to each of them. But it's too beautiful not to just adore.

And each of your characters sings his or her own arietta of youthful hope, or at the very least (Remus) of a future. Only Severus looks back - but that would be his achilles heel, wouldn't it?

One of the coolest features of this piece is the way you use your readers' knowledge of canon as a device. I mean, these are all cute vignettes (except for Severus, but when was anything he did 'cute'?), but they'd not have anywhere near the power they have were it not that the characters don't get that future.
