I'm breathless. I've only read your Kuro fics until now (to say that I love them would be an understatement), but after reading this, I'm convinced that every piece you write is a work of art. I wonder, how can your creativity be so limitless, how do you always manage to make my heart tremble... To think that the sand would be back again, that it would be an endless cycle, I don't even... "God Eye" is actually the name of an anthology of doujinshi that contains the doujinshi "Pieta" which is the one you are talking about.

This may be my favourite of your fanfics I've read so far, and that's certainly saying something...as I believe you are my favourite author, writing Bartimaeus and Death Note and InuYasha and His Dark Materials and Kami knows what else :) And just so you know, I'm severely hypercritical normally. :P

Wah... the doujinshi was so sad. But this story somewhat made me feel better. To me, it's really sad knowing that L's going to live forever, even though Light will be resurrected every few decades. A very bittersweet story you have here, but a good one nonetheless.

Oh my god. Frankly, I'm surprised that this doesn't have more reviews. I just love everything about it. Immortality is definitely not something enjoyable and I just felt so bad for L. Still, I love the idea of Raito 'coming back'. It's Raito being reincarnated over and over, right? That just makes the whole story even more bittersweet because L gets to be with Raito yet will always have the boy taken away from him. I love this fic overall!

YES! I had just finished re-reading God's Eyes when I stumbled upon this, and with the story (and BEAUTIFUL art of course) fresh in my mind it made reading this fic even better!
