I'm enjoying this story. You even worked some easter eggs into it with the book titles. I like the FFX one a lot, giving the plot twist away in the subtitle. Brilliant.

It's good to see a story about the main characters of the game without it being some sort of mushy love story, too OOC or where everything is perfect and joyous.

Love the work so far. I'm definitely intrigued ^^. I'm glad someone has covered Irvine's doubts on shooting Matron, it was something I thought wasn't proven enough. Thanks for writing and please continue.

I really like the feel of this, the simple sentence structure and minimal description - it adds to the feeling of isolation and unease. I think the story is tight enough to stand on its own as is, but I'd love to read more - and possibly a happy ending for them all.

I loved Seifer saying he wasn't angry - and Squall feeling betrayed by Rinoa's lack of protest. And poor, poor Irvine was perfect.
