Stories like these make me sad and depressed. Why do I read them? Why, why why? I don't know. I just know that this was beautiful.

Whenever I try to imagine the end of the Spirit Detectives, I just can't imagine a happy ending, for some reason. I think you're right; 'they can never go home'.
