Geraldine Hake 2009-02-08 . chapter 1I think that, rather irrelevantly, my favorite line was Hermione's description of Severus's "tea-stained" teeth. It showed her impartiality to trivial things, like beauty, and also how well she loves her husband. I found that this passage painted a very revealing and true picture of her character.
Thank you. My appetite has been so well satiated that my stomach feels just as magically satisfied as all of theirs! |
wallyflower 2009-02-07 . chapter 1You know, I love your writing, I really do. But please be more careful about your ratings. That bit about tangled limbs and Draco, Harry and Ginny does NOT come under "K" or "suitable for most ages." |
sunsethill 2009-02-02 . chapter 1Obviously, I am WAY behind on my reading. This was great fun--but as always you have now gotten me terribly interested in this little window on your new world. How did Remus and Tonks survive? What happened to get Kingsley replaced? Harry, Ginny and Draco?? Hannah and Luna, eh? You had some fun with this, but I can also see the seeds of disaster in DH's epilogue which didn't make me surprised that things could have gone so bad so fast. Dare I say I would like more of this story? ;-) |
sqHPfan 2009-01-05 . chapter 1the part of the story I enjoyed was the fluffy one, with everyone getting all the Christmas sweets and puddings imaginable. I really loved many of your HP stories, and I am still waiting for the next update of your Ratatouille story, but I couldn't quite connect to this one. I just can't see the threesome of Harry, Ginny and Draco of all people and George, Neville and Luna being gay? it is just too far out there for me. sorry! I prefer stories that are closer to canon. |
stillneedaname 2009-01-04 . chapter 1This was a great fluff story. I loved how you kept all my favourite characters alive. I can't imagine them all living in the same house. I could read a full length novel about that. I don't have a favourite line but I love how the pudding came out of the book at the end. And reading it in the present tense was interesting too. Nice job. Can't wait for you to share more with us. |
SShappiness 2009-01-03 . chapter 1I think my other review was messed up. The most evocative line for me was when Severus whispered in Hermione's ear about Christmas pudding. So sexy! Wouldlove to read a sequel about what happens on New Years Eve. Or a prequel about why they are all in this house together. |
KellyRoxton 2008-12-31 . chapter 1I thought it was very cute. Great Job. Write more and post soon. |
 babe-with-the-power 2008-12-31 . chapter 1Ha ha!! That was pretty good! |
notwritten 2008-12-29 . chapter 1Nice and interesting story. I wish there was a book like the one in the story for real. Keep smiling. :-) |
Mother of Tears 2008-12-29 . chapter 1That was really an enjoyable little story. But the universe it belongs in seems to be completely different from that of your other stories. Did the deatheaters win? Did they take over the Ministry? Will you be setting some more stories in this realm?
By the way. I never took Luna as a lesbian, just weird. |
excessivelyperky 2008-12-29 . chapter 1You wicked woman--there goes my diet for the night! And probably several days thereafter.
Just for that...rum balls. Fruitcake dripping with sugared almonds. Chocolate chip cookies according to the Nestles' Tollhouse recipe. Razzleberry pie with whipped cream (raspberry mixed with blackberries). Pineapple upsidedown cake. Warm blueberry scones.
And none of it sweeter than that last kiss. |
Mija 2008-12-29 . chapter 1How wonderfully sweet! very enjoyable |
Alcina vom Steinsberg 2008-12-29 . chapter 1Truly a wonderful and enchanting Christmas story! Thank you very much for some nice and spicy seasonal moments. |
Ourbrokenheart 2008-12-29 . chapter 1Wonderful!! Such a warm, fuzzy Christmas story. A nice gift for all.
Great to read your writing again, I missed it.
As an American, and (worse) a **gasp** New Yorker (lol) I don't think I fully realize the significance of Christmas Pudding. We have Pecan Pie and Pumpkin Pie, Apple and other fruit Pie's, Chocolate Cakes of all sorts, and Christmas cookies, as well as sweet whipped cream to top it off (well maybe some ice cream on the warm apple pie). 'Pudding' here in NY is thick milk and sugar custard like concoction.
We call the sweets after dinner "dessert", usually enjoyed with coffee or tea. I seem to think that 'Pudding' in Britian is more 'dessert' in the US. In one story, Ron calls it "after's" and I felt like that word was more comprable to the American 'dessert'.
Am I right in assuming that the British attach a bit more significance to thier Pudding than we do towards our dessert?
Thanks for the story...loved it. |
etherian 2008-12-29 . chapter 1A delightful Christmas story and it's made me hungry! |
