Wow. I think this perfectly explains how Chrona must've been feeling before she'd made her friends at Shibusen, or at least, when she's being depressed. Very nice job :)

I just realized that my review came out kind of akwardly, since sweet isn't exactly the average adjective one would use for this sort of thing. Bittersweet, like Chrona is letting us into hisher mind, is more what I meant, although I suppose that's still rather weird.
But adding onto this, it reminded me of being in a basement in the winter, cold seeping through your bones, only emotionally. You seem to have captured Chrona's feelings quite well, and it was most enjoyable to read.

...aw. Now I really, really, really want to give Chrona a hug. This was so sad and sweet.
