I'm really surprised there aren't more reviews, because I'm finding this series to be fascinating. The interlocking stories are interesting in and of themselves, and woven together, it's great. Well written and the characters are really on the mark. My only comment is that a Beta would help you with idiom and verb usage. For example: "Jim Brass jolted a bit." People do not jolt, their bodies jerk when they're surprised. Having someone "shine" at someone is an idiom that is not used in the U.S. For us, the correct verb is: smile. A Beta would help you adjust for those differences. Now, please keep going, because I'm "dying" to see where this is heading!
