I would presume that after learning inter-galactic travel, Parallel Universes would be the next way to go.

Magnificent story.

This is one crossover between Stargate and Star Trek that is very logical. I can even see a future where both universes keep in contact.

I somehow stumbled across this crossover and nearly fainted with happiness. Picard/Crusher *AND* Sparky in the same fic?! Two of my fave TV shows combined together? *passes out*

And, to make it even better, it's beautifully written with a great plot!

I love it! A lot! It's really good and I just hope that this isn't the last chapter because it just seems stuff has been left unsaid!

I have spent the last two days reading this lovely story whenever I get he chance and I must say that I'm pleasantly surprised. I have never read any TNG fic (being too much of a purist) but I do love crossovers so I thought I'd give it a try. Thank you for sharing this great tale. I'm looking forward to an update.

Just finished reading the whole thing. I was impressed by the level of detail you got in it.
This was my favorite quote out of the whole thing:

“You have to drink root beer,” John admonished Elizabeth as he pressed it into her hands. “if you’re going to keep talking about the Federation--”

So happy. So bubbly. So cloy...

Presently just finished reading chapter 3. I'm really enjoying how you reveal the personalities of all the characters and how they interact with the characters of the opposite show. Very nicely done. Also excellent descriptions of the places, and your storyline is very intriguing.
It is, however, riddled with typos, grammatical and punctuation errors, and missing words.

Okay, I'll admit one thing to you first off: I went into this story with absolutely no history of viewing Stargate: Atlantis. I enjoyed SG1, and saw them discuss it, but not the spin-off itself.

Your story has definite merit. I enjoyed the plot, and the characterization of the characters I know (from Star Trek) seem right. You've managed to stay fairly true to them, which is one of the hardest things as a fic writer, particularly when writing a crossover. Granted, you do have to take into account that the plot is a bit out-of-character. You also mixed some comedy in with everything else, which is always a good thing.


One last thing: Please know that this isn't criticism, but you might look into getting a beta. I did notice some grammatical errors in the fic. A beta can not only help with grammatical errors, but with story flow, canon aspects regarding shows they're familiar with, characterization, and they also make a good friend to bounce ideas off of. As a fic writer myself, I've found that a good beta is one of the best tools you can find.

like the story, just have one or two nit picks about the plot...

Now you're saying atlantis has 1 zpm, which according to cannon was strong enough to hold off a fleet of 12 wraith hive ships for days possibly even weeks, not to mention that atlantis has a full compliment of drones taken from "the Tower" episode, which should be enough to take out a bunch of hive ships. Other than that i love the plot.

there were a few technical points that kind of bugged me like the whole radio waves deal, jumpers can broadcast on both subspace and radio frequencies so it was kind of odd for them to conclude that they had no grasp of subspace. As for medical technology, the basic medical technology of earth is vastly inferior but you also have to remeber that earth has access to, and has used more advanced technology in the past so Beverly's technology shouldnt have been as big of a wow factor to them. (Im talking about goa'uld hand devices, sarcophogus, and of course asgard technology, which out strips trek medicine by light years)
