what happened with Nudge, i mean y were her and fang alone? y does fang keep worrying about her is he knows she's dead? i like the story and think u should continue it. hope u post soon

Just one quick nitpick: "I haven’t cried in forever, and yet I found salty tears running down my face."

You're using two tenses there: present (haven't), and past (cried, found).

But anyway, this is a very suspenseful start, and I look forward to seeing how you'll continue the story. :)
