Okay, so when I finished reading it my first thought was "Nice!"
My second one was "No!" Is that really it? Come On! Please do reconsider adding to it some more... I though that you'll add some scenes from Noel's soccer game and was very dissapointed that you did not... Also, I would love to see more of their relationship and not just a hint. All in all, cool piece. Very easy-going and light. Good use of humor. Basically, very enjoyable. LOVED IT!! ^^

I'm a fan of slash, and I'm a fan of Life with Derek. Why I haven't really looked into Life with Derek slash, I couldn't say, but this time, I'm glad I did. However, I couldn't see this or any other Derek-likes-a-guy pairing in another situation, as that just seems . . . unrealistic.

This, on the other hand, was amazingly believable. You portrayed all the characters with flawless authenticity as well as kept up on the witty banter. I also loved how you brought in Dasey (which we couldn't live without) to somewhat explain Derek's motivation for "dating" Noel.

Overall, great fic, especially for your first slash.

In other news, sulking Derek continues to make my day, Noel is a cunning little twerp, Casey is brilliantly oblivious in a way that is so...lovable, and WHAT THE HELL WOMAN I AM A DASEY SHIPPER STOP CONVERTING ME.

It's people like you who are slowly making me an m-slasher. I would weep and mourn the loss of my purity were it not so--freaking awesome.

That applies to you, as well. Because you are freaking awesome. Even if I never review. It's just kind of a sickness, I'm sorry. But it applies to pretty much everything you write that I have read, (including this!) and that is pretty much my blanket disclaimer.

Okay wow. Just WOW! I LOVE Doel and this fic was AMAZING! I can't get over how AWESOME it is! Some serious slash goodness and yet the characters are still in character! You are a GENIUS, and you must write more! I LOVE your sense of humour and your style of writing, it's just so much fun to read! The plot itself was genius alone, and you totally managed to make it even better than it seems! I bow down to you and your writing, and tastes in ships. Doel is definitely the hottest lwd slash ship!
