Oh, it truly was as if he never existed - the apartment, the hospital, her job... but oh, it was a surprise to have Alice reappear. Why am I crying over Alice's scarf analogy?

*Gasping* Esme's son? Alice's words - "altering the pattern" - oh yes!

"So the stars had aligned, and on the one night of the week that I had off, I was going to dinner at the Cullen residence - to meet a man I didn't even know existed." - "as if he never existed" - wow, what a turn.

Spring - "rebirth" - seeing Edward in Esme & Carlisle's home - I cannot read through my tears *wipes eyes* Oh my, it really is him, and he remembers - *stops to let tears fall in earnest*

Avery, thank you so much for this beautiful story. I can't tell you how glad I am to have been here for so many chapters. I would like to think there is an epilogue in the works, but I suspect you are comfortable with where you're leaving these characters.

I'm sad this story is over! :( But I'm ELATED that it had a VERY happy ending! XD As soon as Esme showed up in the coffee house and said the word "son" I got the biggest most ridiculous grin on my face. So THAT'S what Alice ment! I do believe it worked out for the best ;D Plus Edward plays HOCKEY. HOT. I don't know why, but the image of him playing hockey is just... so very nice. (WHICH I WHY I AM IN. LOVE. WITH THIS NEW STORY CALLED 'TAKE THE ICE' BY BELLAMARIE117. It's SO good, Christi!) Anyway, I absolutely loved this story! I DO hope you decide to write another one sooner or later ;)

I'm not a very visual person. I've never had the ability to visualize something that I've read. I see it in generalities but I have to tell you that the way you write, your descriptions, etc., allows me to see and feel the interaction of Edward with Bella. I can see the love in his eyes as he looks at her, feel it in your description of him wrapping her within his wings. I can see and feel the heartache as well with his internal fight to stay with Bella. Not sure what you do differently, but, thank you. I didn't expect all of this emotion when I started the story but I love it!

Bittersweet moment. I am so sad it is over but at the same time so happy for E and B and the way they found each other again. That was beautifully done, perfect ending. Thank you so much for sharing, this is one of my favorite Twific stories ever.

Really enjoying the story. Sounds a little like The City of Angels with Meg Ryan and Nicholas Cage. Just please tell me it's not going to end like that movie!
