lbekoj 2009-12-31 . chapter 11 This chapter with Soval's POV is rich with the images which are special for the desert dwellers: T'Pol as "only a grain in the desert" and humans small victories as "the sand grains flowing down in an hourglass". I am very fond of such your tale which evokes the vivid pictures.
I like as you show by giving an example of Soval's worry about Varuka that the absence of the news may be good news.
I love that you depicted such big variety among Vulcan characters and you made them all very real, as such insignificant as T’Rama.
It is so amusing to watch T'Pau in this universe where she must struggle so evidently with her emotionality and reconcile it with her craving for being proper Vulcan. ri’telik-ek’zer was a good invention for the emphasis of it.
Soval's flashbacks were also the interesting and picturesque way to tell about the past. His recollections of young T'Pau and T'Pol helped to understand all of three them. T'Pol called Soval as Sofa was very nice detail. And I adore that his loyalty to T'Pol outweighed all considerations of the reasonability.
I am looking forward the events in Orion space and especially on the specific ship. |
 Entilzha 2009-12-31 . chapter 11Great chapter. Thanks and a Happy New Year :) |
Alelou 2009-12-31 . chapter 11I know I should be following the clues and figuring this out, especially as a beta, but mostly I just enjoy each chapter as they come. This AU is very compelling -- so much so that it really makes me interested in characters I don't normally have much interest in. I really enjoyed this look at a war-weary Soval stuck in a deteriorating situation on Vulcan. |
Blackn'blue 2009-12-31 . chapter 11 Superb. But it's definitely time for a coup. Soval needs to shoot the High Command en masse and take over as dictator. |
GardenRiver 2009-12-31 . chapter 11Another amazing chapter!I really enjoyed this one, and reading from Soval's point of view. Your use of mini flashbacks was really neat. I liked the little part where T'Pol had difficulty pronouncing Soval's name when she was little. So cute. It showed how connected they are and it emphasizes the point that he is worried. I think you did a good job managing to have the Vulcans show 'concern' while not compromising what makes them vulcan. All in all fabulous chapter and i look forward to more! |
fullhans1 2009-12-31 . chapter 11Good chapter. I hope that Trip and T'Pol will be in the next chapter. |
Capt.Cow 2009-12-22 . chapter 10 Tehehehehehehe, I loved this chapter! Trip driving her nuts with his innocent discussion, and T'Pol being bitter, but also unable to ignore him! Classic. You made me giggle! Looking forward to more. |
 fullhans1 2009-12-20 . chapter 10Good story. Very interesting AU. |
NaomiBlue 2009-11-17 . chapter 10Of course Trip would annoy T'Pol he always does but she'll like him in the end she always does. |
anaM 2009-11-03 . chapter 10 That was quite a chapter! You got Trip and T'Pol so perfectly, it was a joy to read. Can't wait to see where you'll get in the next one! |
DinahD 2009-11-02 . chapter 10"T’Pol couldn’t see him, but the sound told her that he was young, tall and strong, but she could subdue him. In the not-so-positive side, he had mistaken her for a male. So he was young, tall, strong and dumb." LOL!
You've set up a very interesting situation. The idea that Trip was targeted by the Vulcans is a nice twist. I'm really looking forward to where this story goes from here. Terrific job! |
panyasan 2009-11-01 . chapter 10Bravo! I love your Trip. I love your T'Pol. The musings of T'Pol - her reaction to Trip, the history of Vulcan and Humans with all his horors, the way the Orions are painted - it's very good. I also love your title and the small hints (prison movies for example) you gave in this chapter. |
 Entilzha 2009-11-01 . chapter 10Thanks :) |
Bluenblack 2009-11-01 . chapter 10The way Trip is going on, I would be tempted to take his head off myself :) |
GardenRiver 2009-11-01 . chapter 10Awesome chapter this is a really great story. I can't wait for more. You do a really wonderful job with it. |
