2009-12-10 . chapter 26
hi!
The storry is great and it was really wonderfull till the moment you described Hermione as a whore!(so to say with Krum) the thought of her going in a different country at the age of 15 just to do it without much feelings for me is disgusting...that was really OOC...and not at all like the reall Hermione...I'm personaly from Bulgaria and I don't support the very early sex life of teenagers (especially with the tendancy to just do it for it feels good...the action itself MUST have feelings otherwise it's something ugly), sorry!
I would have said that this was the best story ever about SS/HG ('cos you describe Severus really great)... but with this part in it its really disturbing and in 2 words NOT RIGHT!

Good thing there's a sequel, otherwise I wouldn't know what to do with myself and this ending! However, it's still a very good ending! :)

Just saw the other day that your sequel is completed, and decided that I should re-read this first before diving into part 2. I loved your story every bit as much this time as I did the first time through! ::skips off to start devouring Phoenix Tears::

LOL, about my last review. The Golden Mean is the Golden Ratio xD Sorry about that. Professor Vector is still a great character.

Soon the story will end, and I'm glad there's already a sequel. Cheers.

The way you developed Arithmancy is unbelievable! I barely understood half of it, but I loved the Golden Mean, it reminds me of a few Physics classes I've had, where we learned about numerical precision...
Anyway, I wanted to know if you came up with this whole new branch of magic, because although it's mentioned in JK Rowling's books, it was never further explored...
If you did think it all up, congratulations, you make me want to study it too, LOL.

I've been reading this, and loving it. You are one of the only writer's I've seen that doesn't make Snape OOC.

Besides, I love the tiny details, like lesbian poker night (so fun!) and the incident with Jocelyn. Ok, maybe Jocelyn isn't just a detail... What I meant is it's clearly accentuated in your fanfic that the wizarding world seriously lacks in the department of psychology.

I know this story is now complete, but I'll cheer you on to keep writing anyway ^^

A brilliant story! It kept me up far beyond when I should be sleeping for a week night because I simply couldn't put my iPod down ;)
I love Severus in this story and the idea of using Arithmacy (I'm sure i've spelt that wrong, but I don't know how to actually spell it lol) to predict that much is amazing. It reminds me slightly of another story (which name has faded into the nothingness of my memory, unfortunately) where there were "oracles", a mix of arithmacy and muggle computers, but at the same time was so different I revelled in the idea.

Forgive my sleep-deprived ramblings, Im just here to tell you how much I enjoyed your story! ;)

Hey there, the first few chaptyers, till 6 or so werer a bit hard and i stopped reading this fic multiple times because they more or less rehashed old material. I got through it though, although I still dont like certain aspects, sometimes that HErmione is treated like a child for example. I like the little Smith girl. I think Snape is being a bit unjust though, I to would find it rather hard for a muggleborn girl to survive in slytherin. One would hope not all slytherins would look at her badly but in their current climate...

I just finished reading this and simply had to comment, brilliant! The writing was very well done and the story itself... fantastic! Now I'm off to start on the sequel!

Cheers!

Sorry to drop a review in the middle of the story but OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG that was the most awkward/best mistletoe scene with Hermione and Snape! OMG so awkward. Ok, moving on to ch. 16

Gah! This was such a fantastic fan fic! it has got to be one of the best written and believable snape/granger fanfics I have ever read! You and your betas/editors are fantastic! I can tell you put a lot of love, effort, and thought into this story, because it really shows. thank you so much for sharing it with everyone! I am off to read the sequel now! I am so excited! Reading this is like having extra tidbits that Rowling forgot to put in, but they're about my favorite pairing! wonderful work!

Your story made so much sense it was scary! It was so good to see the story from Snape's viewpoint - ever after finishing DH I felt Jo was very cruel to him, refusing any crumb of happiness for the man who proved to be the best and bravest of them all, so your addition of Hermione as his confidante warmed my heart immensely. I particularly loved the Felix Felicis part - it was brilliant! Off to read the sequel now, but you'd better have not killed him in the end of it!

2009-11-03 . chapter 15
Since I've been waiting (dying!) to read the end of the prequel to this story, I decided to read your first masterpiece (I mean it!) again
;)

I haven't posted any reviews so far, but at this particular point of the story I just have to:
The first time I came to this chapter I was mortified! I literally imagined myself doing the exact same thing as Hermione did. OH my God!
And now that I read it the second time it doesn't get any better.

You have a true writing talent. Only skilled writers manage to make their readers feel that way.

All my love,
Greetje
