My apologies for not having commented on each tasty morsel of a chapter. Since I’ve only discovered your story a few days ago, and enjoy the luxury of finding it completed and not having to wait agonizingly for updates, I’ve inhaled each chapter in quick succession (as my schedule allows) without taking the time to reflect and feed you back.

I do have some manners (and restraint) so I have promised myself I will start to COMMENT. One should never forget to thank someone for a gift and certainly, I am behind on my expressions of gratitude.

Fleur calling Hermione a prude was hilarious. heehee. Hermione zoning
out in class was hilarious, too.

Whatever Malfoy warned Hermione about couldn't be that bad that it
would scare Hermione off. Curious...

Fleur and Hermione undressing each other was quite...steamy.
And when is Fleur's birthday? >_<

Hermione wasn't suppose to be petrified...that was cute, and
unexpected of Fleur. I like that whole passage. ^_^

Fleur's hallucination was sad, and I do wonder how she will react when she awakens with Hermione there.

I liked the duel. Fleur got on her knee and conceded. That was
interesting.

When Fleur got poisoned, I liked how the only thing that kept her standing was Hermione's eyes. =D

Ugh...and Hermione is such a masochist. lol.

Vertigo hmm...Hermione having
to take care of Fleur should be interesting. They'll get to bond.

Could you explain to me how Fleur came up with 4 as Hermione's
character number? I keep rereading that part and still don't
understand how that works.

I feel bad for Ron. Though his declaration made her think about her assumptions of Fleur.

I like the conversation with the sorting hat.
Slytherin fits Fleur perfectly. She is so indifferent
in this story. I actually like this change of character.

Honestly, Hermione needs to relax and live her life.
She really has no reason to "spite the girl." lol.

Oh, and I like this line. "People will drive themselves mad with
assumptions." ^_^

Great chapter! I find it funny how Hermione was questioning Fleur's feelings for her despite the fact that Fleur went down on her. Even with Fleur's heritage, it still seems like it would be an obvious, especially with how perceptive Hermione is. However, I do understand how a usually very perceptive Hermione would end up confused. When you like someone, there's always that insecurity.

Amazingly detailed story. Good job with the angst levels. Kept them high the whole time. I enjoyed the depth and complexity of the characters. Good scene descriptions. The dinner scene with the riddles and stars for Valentine's day was positively delightful. Gripping and wrenching ending. I also liked the flashbacks of different takes on events. Gave the story a nice depth and twist. Thank you for not making me read badly done accents with missing letters whenever Fleur chose to speak. I am very grateful for you choosing a more subtle method of keeping the accent and mystique. Of course I am delighted to go an read the sequel. Thank you for the lovely piece and I look forward to reading more.

I am so sorry it took me this long but i have completed reading Vertigo and I have to say despite me being temporarily speechless from just the weight of all the emotions going through me right now, this was so beautifully written and inspiring and just wonderful. I love the irony, the way you concluded the story was so fitting yet sad and I feel horrible that Hermione has to wait 4 years for Fleur, her husband to return to her. This would leave her doubting everything and become numb hopefully when Fleur returns though they can be happy with no barriers or insecurities. Now off to Scowl & Sneer...

This story completely blew me away...I don't think there is anything I could possibly say that would adequately express just how amazing this story was. The characters were multi-faceted, the storyline was complex, and the magic was very well captured (even expanded upon). I was entranced from beginning to end and look forward to reading your other works.

I want to yell and scream at you for ending it that way but it's just to damn good XD Ive recently read Chauvinistic Coquette (Sp?) And I have to say its my fav story ever on here..You switched me from a HG/GW lover to a FD/HG lover with it...Actually made me detest the thought of hermione with anyone other than fleur really. And this, Vertigo has only strengthened that...I love this story But this ending...NO. :[ You should do a sequel if you feel like it...(My way of saying PLEASE do a sequel) I love how your stories start off and go in such unpredictable yet highly addictive directions...XD Your an awesome author. D: I shall hope you do a sequel so I can find out what happens with Fleur after 4 years...Btw, the ending to CC made me so sad after spending days reading it and becoming as enraptured with it as I was with the actual HP series...But it was a fitting and very happy ending :D
