first, you might want to get a beta reader to help you before you post, just to help with grammar, sentence structure, etc.

Second, the name is Seamus, not Shamus. When writing a fic, it's always a good idea to check the spelling of the character names before posting. (I'm assuming you have the books... this should be pretty easy. just look in any one of the books!)
