I liked the measage at the bottom. It was very refreshing.

And the part about the knife looking intimidating, that there was pretty original.

I like the ending. A good message there to think about after reading the question at the end. Great job writing in John's POV in the letter.

Hey Grey, This is your best work so far. By reading this, even though it's short, I can sense that you're getting better at writing for this fandom. Reading John's suicide note was interesting and even though I don't know if he'd be mean enough (during that time) to call his sis a you know what, it was all good and his dad is a dead beat if I must say so. lol. I also liked the little lesson you put in there at the bottom. Gives some good balance to the meaning of the fic.

Anyways, if you keep up at this rate, I bet you'll do damn good on a long-shot. However, if I were you I WOULD consider rewritting Slicing Hearts. It's a bit bland if ya know what I mean. haha.
