The comrade Putin bit made me laugh. Firstly because of the comrade part, then because Putin reminded me of a swear word...

and i feel so proud of myself for understanding the killing Archduke Ferdinand comment. Paying attention in socials actually pays off other than getting good makrs. Who knew. XD

This is very, very interesting. The background story you've created by now promises lots of action and interesting conversations, so I'm really looking forward to see what'll happen next. How in the world is Blunt going to get Alex to cooperate with MI6, even if I don't count Yassen? I'm putting this on alert, so please update soon!

If anybody else said that "If you want to read good fanfic, you have to write it yourself" thing, they would be acting conceited, but in your case, it's just true. xD This is amazing, one of the best AR fanfics I've seen. Everybody is in character, the plot is original and intriguing, and I can't wait to see what happens next. (I want Yassen and Alex to go on a "mission" together. xP)

I also think you portray Alex's attitude towards Yassen perfectly. It's unrealistic when they just suddenly seem to be best friends, just because Yassen and John were friends. People seem to forget that Yassen killed Alex's uncle.

Anyways, you did a great job with this, and I can't wait for more. :D

I am very quickly falling in love with this story. While the Yassen plot line has been done before, you inject a new cynicism into it with Alex's point of view. Too often in fanfic he's all-too-willing to accept that Yassen is his friend based upon the fact that maybe his dad was friends with him once.

Your characterization is excellent as well. I really loved the part with Mrs. Jones at the beginning of this chapter, about the heels. Perfect. Keep up the good work! I'll be looking for new chapters soon!
