I have mixed feelings about this fic. It was, without doubt, an interesting AU but I would expect nothing less from you. I liked how you handled the character developments and interactions, especially Kiba..the subtle gestures showing he did care for Sakura totally won me over and I ended up loving him all the same. The college setting was another bonus.
The last chapter felt kinda rushed but the epilogue was very beautifully written.

You should see the way people act around my older sister. We once went to a department store to buy medicine at night, but we arrived just past closing time. The escalator was stopped and blocked. A young, male, rather good-looking worker caught sight of my sister. She asked if we could shop for a few minutes and quickly leave. Acting nonchalant, he produced a key, removed the barrier and ushered us upstairs.

This is NOT an isolated incident. My older sister is unearthly beautiful.

This turned out differently than I expected, but then again, I didn't really set specific expectations in the first place. Lol. :)

Though I did think it was a KibaSaku pairing. Haha. It was cool that there was both KibaSaku and SasuSaku kind stuff, and I was only slightly disappointed that one of them didn't end up with Sakura. But because of what happened in the story, I understand why it turned out that way.

Also, the ninja part was an interesting turn, and this story will forever stand out in my memory when I think of AU fics because of it. :)

I honestly spent the last two hours reading through this fic.

The first two chapters had me bubbling with excitement. Why? Because of the potential sasusaku and Kiba insert. In all my years of reading, never had a read such a sudden turn of events. I never expected this fic to be so freakin' dark! I was constantly debating with myself, whether or not to hate Kiba and Sasuke. Not going to lie, I still resent them after the epilogue.

One thing that bothered me in this fic was the pacing between Sakura's encounter with Shimon and her encounter with Danzo. It seems rushed? Another thing that bothered me was the fact that Sasuke and Kiba just sat by and watched Sakura get molested by Shimon. I mean, sure they have their goals, and sure Sakura isn't exactly close to them, but are they that lacking in morals? Of course, this is AU.. since the canon Sakura would never go through this embarrassment, canon Sasuke would not let Sakura do this (well, pre-timeskip at least), and canon Kiba would not be that vicious.

Overall, I seriously am delighted to have read this story. I really, really liked it. It was so well written and most of the characters were just so lovable. The plot is very charming and I was instantly drawn to it.

I must admit, I'm a bit bitter about the situation with Sasuke at the end. I thought something good would happen between Sasuke and Sakura at the end of the story, even after everything that's happened. I was shocked at how realistically you wrote the epilogue (which really deserves kudos. Because if I were in your position, I would've clearly laid out the sasusaku. I blame it on my diehard addiction to the pairing.) I was angry with Sasuke for reacting to Sakura's confession the way he did (even though it was expected XD).

This story was so fascinating and I can't help but want more, although you've already finished the story. This is officially the longest review I have ever written (by a lot, lol). I loved bittersweetness XD.

it totaly changed my conception of beauty,i being an average teenage girl have always wanted to be prettier although i do see the dark side sometimes but i never realised the effect it could have on people's lives.

For example, if danzo's just a lowly political guy, how can he order the mass murder of the clans? And how on earth did Sakura get into the hotels/offices of her 'clients' anyway! I don't think it's that easy for Danzo to give interviews, especially to an amateur. And the real sakura would rather die than whore.

The whole story lacks details, elaborations. This would be a terrific storyline to lengthen, because 8 chapters is just too abrupt!

But you're a brilliant writer, and I've read some of your other works as well. Well done! :)
