Krystaluvstwilight 1/7/09 . chapter 2OMG..LOL You have such a knack for making serious stuff over the top hilarious! I can't wait for more! |
whitehound 1/7/09 . chapter 1Great fun and great dialogue, although it could do with proof-reading in places. Despite what another reviewer said, you're OK with the turban so long as we assume this is taking place in August. All we know is that Quirrell wasn't wearing it on Harry's birthday at the end of July, but was wearing it on 1st September. |
carrot138 1/7/09 . chapter 2Very funny! Poor Snape has the hardest time of it doesn't he? At least Professor Lupin is a good choice for next year (even if obviously not from Snape's point of view). |
Gemini Artemis 1/7/09 . chapter 2This is hilarious! Both chapters made me laugh out loud several times. XD I can't even quote my favourite excerpts because the whole thing is so very funny. I love your writing style and sense of humour. Looking forward to the next chapter. |
Cateagle 1/7/09 . chapter 2IMHO, Severus most definitely has the right of it, this time. Hiring Lockhart instead of him is quite the slap in the face, or a kick somewhat lower down. It's amusing to watch Albus squirm as he tries to keep Severus in Potions. |
Cateagle 1/7/09 . chapter 1*chuckle* Oh, my, he does have problems filling that position. I wonder that he took so long to break down and let Severus teach it. |
graynavarre 1/7/09 . chapter 2I can't help but wonder how much easier life would have been if Gryffindor had been paired with Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw - any house but Syltherin. A Syltherin/Ravenclaw potions would have been safe and fun. Hufflepuff would have ignored the more insane actions of the Gryffindors. |
Robbie the Phoenix 1/7/09 . chapter 2“Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go talk my Potions Professor out of defecting to France,” Albus said. Rofl! I love how you bring humour to what would normally be quite a serious subject. You have a gift for it. And Snape's 'exagerated' description of what his class is like was also quite amusing, among several other things which had me giggling. Can't wait for Year Three. Until then, Cyas. |
Reader-Writer 1/6/09 . chapter 1A proudly stammering Quirrell... I'd like to hear that... Good story, well-written. |
Piscesfairy 1/6/09 . chapter 1Lol, I enjoyed this a lot! Looking forward to the next chapter, I love the end. It's so Quirrell, or at least what he was pretending to be like. |
Kathleen Yuki 1/5/09 . chapter 1that was fairly good- keep up the good work and i hope to read more of your material soon. i liked the ending by the way. |
heathw 1/5/09 . chapter 1I'm now laughing so hard I'm crying. Please, keep it up. |
SomeGuyFawkes 1/5/09 . chapter 1Well it could be interesting. So far hasn't really opened new ground. Also, Quirrell was not wearing the turban at the time he got the DADA job. That only came later, after the failed Gringotts robbery (HP1). |
Memory King 1/5/09 . chapter 1This one is certainly amusing, but I don't know if it will manage to hold out while following canon. Why Dumbledore gave Umbridge the Defence Job will always be beyond me. Looking forward to more! |
Robbie the Phoenix 1/5/09 . chapter 1-“Because Quirrell isn’t vital to Harry’s protection once he enters the magical world and you are not on the verge of a mental breakdown,” Albus responded patiently. “Want to bet?” Severus muttered.- *Giggles* I like this side of Snape, it's so funny. And Albus, as always, seems to take pleasure in frustrating his co-workers. Can't wait for the next chapter. Until then, Cyas. |
