Despite what another reviewer said, you're OK with the turban so long as we assume this is taking place in August. All we know is that Quirrell wasn't wearing it on Harry's birthday at the end of July, but was wearing it on 1st September.

Very funny! Poor Snape has the hardest time of it doesn't he? At least Professor Lupin is a good choice for next year (even if obviously not from Snape's point of view).

IMHO, Severus most definitely has the right of it, this time. Hiring Lockhart instead of him is quite the slap in the face, or a kick somewhat lower down. It's amusing to watch Albus squirm as he tries to keep Severus in Potions.

*chuckle* Oh, my, he does have problems filling that position. I wonder that he took so long to break down and let Severus teach it.

I can't help but wonder how much easier life would have been if Gryffindor had been paired with Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw - any house but Syltherin.

A Syltherin/Ravenclaw potions would have been safe and fun.

Hufflepuff would have ignored the more insane actions of the Gryffindors.

Rofl! I love how you bring humour to what would normally be quite a serious subject. You have a gift for it. And Snape's 'exagerated' description of what his class is like was also quite amusing, among several other things which had me giggling.

Well it could be interesting. So far hasn't really opened new ground.

Also, Quirrell was not wearing the turban at the time he got the DADA job. That only came later, after the failed Gringotts robbery (HP1).

This one is certainly amusing, but I don't know if it will manage to hold out while following canon. Why Dumbledore gave Umbridge the Defence Job will always be beyond me.
