OMG MY brain just exploded. I love this pairing and I don't think anyone has written a future fic especially where Maka is knocked up. you portrayed it perfectly. Especially loving the first reaction where she throws the tests at Soul after he asked "you sure?" LMFAO and the ending was beautiful. I am glad you let the baby survive. I would DIED myself if it was too sad...:'(

Heh, this is quite a funny oneshot. Though I tend to keep away from SoulxMaka stories that are too mushy for my taste, this one was quite bearable and made me laugh a LOT. XD I wish I knew Spirit's reaction when he found out, but oh well...XP anyways, Great job on this! b^^d

I loved this. It was so wonderfully wonderful, and very believable. I don't think anyone would have held it against you if the baby had been stillborn-- Maka was incredibly reckless in that fight with a baby on board. I was actually kind of expecting it.

Ff.n just doesn't allow stars, I don't think. I've never been able to use them, either.

To be honest with you, the beginning made me kinda afraid this was going to be really depressing indeed, but halfway through(I think at the point where Soul checks on the baby) the angst started to settle itself in character(Because both of them have this 'I feel insecure about me being able to secure you!'-thing going on, so their issue with the baby felt right at that point) And when blackstar and tsubaka enter it's square in the athmosphere of the series.(well, almost, it's still very angst-laced)

Well, you can't blame yourself, the series has a load of subtext for those two, and anyone with even the littlest of creativity has probably went through their 'aw, they're so cute together'-phase(Now let's hope there won't be any shipping wars in this fandom, or else people will get bad taste of crazy fans before the cuteness of the couple).

To be honest though, when I read your comment about the stillborn baby, 'yeah, that would've totally been your style' went through my head, and I'm glad you chose not to, especcially after how relatively cheerful the piece was.

Anyway, good characterisations, good atmosphere: good fic!

Nicely done. Don't feel too bad about the lack of Spirit, after all, you just know that at some point during those nine months Soul faced the wrath of 'Scythe in one form or another. Hmm, would I be correct in guessing that the kid's a weapon (I'm going by the way that bit was phrased, plus genetics)?
