Weird and interesting story! Wouldn't it be fun to have the Hat re-Sort the teachers?

Good shuffle for Tom when Dumbledore questioned him--where did Hermione go? As for Ron, he'll manage. You don't survive being the younger brother of the Twins unless you have some _sneakiness_ in you! Harry will do fine in Ravenclaw, though Heaven only knows how Crabbe and Goyle will manage. Perhaps Luna will adopt them the next year when she shows up . Or the two of them will let Harry be their brains.

As for Draco, I'm glad the Hufflepuffs are taking care of him. He's probably never had real friends before.

Well this reality seems to be turning out a little differently than I had predicted. I'm rather disturbed to discover that Toms made up story about Pettigrews abuse turned out to be true (or I assume that was the case as he was tested under veriserum). I'm definitely looking forwards to your next update :D

Wait does this mean Peter carted off to the gallows? You mentioned Fudge wanted him to swing...Hanging was the preferred method of execution before the electric chair was discovered...Good-he's dead! Now unless there's some other baddie, Voldie will have to find another way to return...PLEASE have Sirius take custody of Tom and Harry! They should be raised by someone who ac5tually cares abotu their welfare! PELASE have Padfott be smart and distrust Dumbledore! Will Tom be telling Moony and Padfoot about the horrible future? Harry did mention Tom telling him hints of the wizarding world and the future...They should have heads up in case something happens to Tom...

I like the fact that Tom and Harry are so close. Great job with the sorting hat..his comments were funny. I can picture Draco as a Hufflepuff..very funny having him be picked up and brought to the fireplace and given sweets and support. Poor Flitwick..having Goyle and Crabbe in Ravenclaw. I laughed when Ron was sorted into Slytherin. Peter was captured and Sirius is free. I hope that Sirius doesn't forgive Dumbledore for his treachery. So does this mean that Sirius will have custody of Tom and Harry? Dumbledore will not be pleased. I enjoy your character of Moody.

i love your sorting hat! and i love your hufflepuffs - cart that boy's backside over here physically and give him some marshmallows! it will be interesting to see how you change draco's personality due to his sorting.

i almost though you had a continuity error there with the rat, but understood later. i might have put the explanation up with his "escape" but it works ok as is.

i'd love to see tom & harry still be able to get into grimmauld place. after all, it's a black property, is it not? surely they were paranoid enough to have wards set that would keep out uninvited guests. tom surely can think of some reason to not let anyone in - even if it's just something like "it's my house and i don't want you in it". even if they can't get back due to interference, at least the house and its contents would be safe from dumbledore's purging "for the good of the boys".

of course, i guess the whole point is mute now that sirius is free, but still. i can't wait to see how you handle sirius - still loyal to dumbledore or more paranoid in protecting the boys.

moody is turning out to be quite fascinating. is he as good of a potions master as snape now? even if it's just theoretical? i'd love to see him get to use his new knowledge and maybe even be more involved in the boys' lives.

*LOL* i love the Hat! Good! Ron got sorted in Slytherin! Perhaps this time around Harry won't be friends with him! As for Hermione and Neville-where did they go off to? What will Lucius have to say about the Hat? If I was Thomas-I would explain about the Hat being under a spell to Lucius and Snape. They should know that they were most likely sorted in the wrong houses...The twins and Percy really should be resorted. Since Perce's more of a Ravenclaw, and the twins are way too sneaky to be Gryffindor... i don't know about James, Remus, and Sirius. But Peter should have been sorted in another house! He's definitely NOT brave!
