an extremely well written story. I think you've got Ianto just right in his belief in 'what's the point?' as everyone he cared about had died or wouldn't want to know him now. (his views, not mine)

Can I point out that in the new series we meet Ianto's sister and her partner and children. I'm sure there was a bit of a rift there, but not one that they couldn't work through, or even overcome because of their love for each other. But at the end of the episode Cyberwoman, we'd have no ways of knowing that or that maybe that rift with his sister was wider (more raw??)

What about more after this? The series didn't really have time to see how he might have coped with it. Although by countrycide you know he's still not healed, he has sort of already managed to heal whatever rift he had with his work colleges. Mind you I wonder if that's because they deal with so much weird ** that dealing with Ianto wanting to save his girlfriend was nothing more than anther bad day at the office. At least they didn't trash the photocopiers!

that. was possibly the most fantastic Torchwood story I've read yet. I dunno why, I just really love it. I love the descriptions, like how the tension was so thick you could almost smell it. and I loved when Jack quoted Rent, that was great. ;D and Jacks plan and how it worked and everything. it was all just really well written and I really liked it. great work. =)

This is really well done! I could see them and feel their emotions as I read. Suicide is a heavy subject to write about, but you pulled it off wonderfully, and lightened it up nicely at the end with the touch of humor about the hot cocoa (my one critique is that you spelled cocoa incorrectly). Great work on this! I love it. :)

Fantastic, absolutely brilliant. I love that Ianto first wants to spare Jack having to see him die, then goes on living to give Jack something to live for, and that Jack will give him something back in return. Really, really nicely done
