Avery insightful story. I think Coraline had many times when she looked back and regretted how she handled things. Of course that didn't stop her from playing games with he and Beth later on. She was a slow learner. You captured the emotions that tore Mick up very well.

Wow. I'm all teary now. Not just for Mick, but a bit for Coraline too (and I'm not a Coraline fan). I really do think she thought he'd be happy to live and be with her forever . . . if only she hadn't gone about it all so underhandedly. I feel bad for her because of what she made herself lose. Its a shame to have the love of someone like Mick and then to lose it because because stole his trust and didn't give him a chance to trust her. I wonder what would have happened if she had.

CL actually wished Mick's mom and Merry Xmas after murdering her son? Is she insane? Rhetorical question. What did she mean, Mick could have gone inside. What was he supposed to say? "You're just imagining me mom. I'm dead." (?) This left chills and anger in its wake.
