It's rare to find gen!fic for this series, and gen!fic that is written ICly and beautifully, as well. The greatest of thanks and hearts for reminding some of us that there're still writers out there.

...Wow. That -told- so much. I'm amazed with how you handled this - the formatting, the style, everything.

I love the detached, almost disjointed feel of this, all kept neatly by the time markers. There are several images here that are great.

"Outside, the rain pattered on the sidewalk like the pattering feet of dead children." (Can be interpreted as alluding to their profession, as well as their own dead and gone childhood innocence.)

"The way to dusty death." (Time ticks on, ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Nice line.)

"The blond disappeared back through the doorway , the warm light streaming out framing him like some kind of angel, an angel in silhouette. Black angel." (One of the songs sung by Yohji's seiyuu, very nice.)

The part where Aya tried to dredge up a smile was poignant and sad, without being sappy or obvious. Well handled, very well done. The idea that this is the kind of Saturday that we all experience but is so rare to them, a mundane one, echoes a bit of tragedy through all the mundane details. Great job! Thanks for this lovely story.

Lovely story, one of the best I've read.

This review will probably be incoherent, but...wow. This piece was just so unspeakably, darkly beautiful... I am just floored. The imagery, the emotions, the rain and the soliloquy tying it all together. It's so marvelously melancholy! I hope we'll be seeing more Weiss stories from you, this made my night.

Wai! Wai! I downloaded this story a while ago, but I had no idea who the author was! Anyway, I adore this story- so angsty, without really trying to be. I love how you were somehow able to convey the silence throughout the day. It kinda depressed me the first time I read it, 'cos the setting
