Really great chapter Tasty! The imagery and syntax in those last few lines literally just took my breath away - WONDERFULLY done! And now yet another mystery has been included! I suppose it could be obvious as to the woman beneath the cloak, but with you, there's just no telling ;). Brilliant job, and I am eager to find out just who this person is!!

No! Don't leave it on this cliffhanger! Tell us more. Don't Edmund and Lucy remember any of the battles? Thanks for updating. x

Ah, cliffhanger. I hate those. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS. This chapter was so intense and depressingly wonderful. You really know how to draw a person in, Tasty, and then just leave them hanging with an amazed expression on their face. (Pretty much my reaction.)

Ooh, intense. Just for the record, my money's on Saedra as the surprise mystery character.
As a side note, your spin on the Pevensies post-Narnia is brilliant. Especially in the case of Susan. I wasn't particularly fond of her until reading this, to be honest. Anyway, update soon!

I am speechless.
There are truly no words that can describe the shock I am presently feeling. I can only assume that the figure Susan saw at the end of the chapter was either her mind playing tricks on her, or the person mentioned at the end of HKDS who travels to England. It can't be Saedra since she's dead, but there's honestly no one else I can think of who can elicit such a reaction from Susan.

The scene at the dinner table? Heartbreakingly intense. I loved it. I absoultely loved it. I loved Lucy's fury--out of all the authors that I've read here on FFN, I think you have the best and most accurate characterization of Lucy. “How dare you desecrate our memories of Narnia with lies!” Aslan and Narnia are basically her identity, and Susan was insulting Lucy's identity by, um... phrasing the truth. The parents are very well done, too, particularly Jack. I just love Jack's attitude towards Peter's actions and the strong moral sense that he has, especially as a character who has experinced the hardships of war. And oh my God, Edmund... Edmund's innocence through Susan's memories of the treachery that *he* is responsible for is heartbreaking, but simultaneously amazing--the way you write it, anyway.

And I think I have an idea of why Aslan let this disaster happen, or even why he sent Saedra back after she died... These inklings came to me in the last chapter, when Peter had given into his doubts on Aslan and Susan was just starting to doubt the Lion. I think Aslan did all of this--or rather, let all of this happen--to test the Four. He wanted to mess up all the perfection the Four were experiencing in Narnia to make sure whether they were even worth being monarchs. I think FAITH is what really comes into play here... Because if High King Peter the *Magnificent* can't even endure loss and betrayal without losing his faith in Aslan, who is pretty much the god of Narnia, then what kind of High King is he? Let's just say Aslan has very high expectations of them. I don't know, I haven't explained myself thoroughly and perhaps I'm wrong; but this is what I presently think. Overall, I think Aslan is testing his chosen monarchs by flinging extreme hardships on them, and Peter and Susan are failing that test miserably.

In conclusion, please post as soon as you can. I don't think I'll be able to rest with such an intense cliffhanger constantly on my mind. Update ASAP, taht's all I ask of you :)

*applause*

! Did you just kill Susan? Wait, silly question. Still canon here. Um. Wow? Sorry, I'm slightly speechless in awe right now.

In all seriousness/coherency, that was amazing! I'm very curious to know who the figure was - Saedra? Millie? Rahai? - and I absolutely loved how Susan was so far past breaking point that she didn't care who heard her, so long as she could rant, it really showed her desperation. Also, I LOVED Susan sticking up for Peter! It was so beautifully done - even though they were fighting last chapter, it shows she understands and loves him, flip this is just masterfully written! Another brilliant chapter, Tasty!

This was a great chapter Tasty! Lovely cliff (almost quite literally) hanger! Based off of what you said on your Twitter and the guesses in the other reviews, I guess Caulitha, Peter's daughter. Or maybe Edina (you never know :D). I can't think of anyother human women that where in your stories and that haven't been guessed yet.

Please update soon!

So much for keeping Narnia a secret. Poor Lucy and Ed. They probably think she's gone insane. And Helen and Jack! They really would think she's gone mental. And turning the others mental too. Yet somehow they'll manage to blame it on Peter.
Suicide? Problems can be fixed. But I guess I understand why Susan would do it.
I wonder who the woman was. A Narnian? How would she appear in England? Unless she was dead. Maybe she can help Susan set things right again. But if Susan dies from the fall... It could open up more doors for her. In a way. Maybe a chance to set things right in Narnia, solving the problems in England too? I don't think I'm making much sense here.
Great chapter, as always. Update soon!

Tasty, my lady, I don't know how you do it. But you make me want to assassinate you AND assign you a body guard to make sure you stay alive until this story is completed. Well, until every story is completed that you will ever write because you just ooze brilliance. So, I guess I'll have to get rid of that urge to kill you.

I love how you are just fucking up everyone's lives in such a natural manner. All of your stories have become this Narnia canon to me, and I will never think of the Pevs in England without thinking that they were this sick group. Love it. And hate it, sort of. But I love it more.

Please write more at your earliest convenience. ;)

*stops appluading very very slowly as her mouth drops open in horror*

Are you KIDDING me?! You're ending it there?! ARR! No! That is the most cruel - no, one of the most cruel - cliffhangers you've ever had. You've had some pretty nasty ones in HKDS and COTC...

Keep up the amazing work. Please update soon or I fear for our health!

Garh! I just adore your writing! Each chapter has this iconic moment or image, and I think Su falling off the bridge is the one for this one! (Last chapter it was SAEDRASAEDRASAEDRASAEDRA!)

Excellent story. You're killing me. Who the hell could she have seen? Sae? Priyah? Rahai? Talia? I have no idea! Crazy good! This story is amazing on all levels.
